you guys are all on one side or the other. half of you belong at democratic underground, the other half at political forum. everybody has there mind made up and its the same stupid kiddie attacks going back and forth.

what the hell is the point of this forum. all you guys do is post a thread saying obama did this or that, and then another saying mccain did this or that. no meaningful discussion, just another stupid joe c image and another dumb sweetlou post.

y'all are lying in bed with mccain or obama and none of you guys are going to change your allegiance which renders the forum useless for presidential debates. current events and news is a different story. you all have failed though for the election.

TheRx.com is principally a gambling forum that was forced to grow this forum for lack of a better place to put the ocassional political thread several years ago. From a moderating standpoint much more trouble than it's worth. Definitley high mainteance for low rewards.

The forum used to get a lot of good technical arguments but some have moved on while others got pissed off, and you can only talk about the same things a certain number of times.

The best material is archived.

I've also noticed a big drop in decent stuff to post from the english speaking mainstream media in the west.

My own main source was the BBC, which has seen a huge drop in the quality of material over the last few years.

As far as politics is concerned things have been dumbed down across the board on the internet, with the cult of the Britney Spears personality and Big Brother American Idol taking priority over serious news reporting.

It's all about the numbers and the munney, and since most people like brain dead entertainment stuff that's where most of the dwindling news resources are being concentrated.

thank you for agreeing with me wil. i dont have a problem that theres a political forum here. my problem is the lack of debate going on instead of viewing a thread joe c posted with obama wearing a turban and a sweet lou thread saying game over. these people belong at there respective forums.

like eek said where did these debatable threads go. nothing to debate anymore though when everybody has there mind made up. i say why the hell do you post here if you have your mind made up, go to the underground or political forum where you can at least join your people without continually posting the same stuff here.

tocco, rightside, joe c, everybody else of there ilk on this forum is going to vote mccain and post articles and dumb commentary on obama. the obama people will come back and bash them.
