I've been a member here since 09/04 and have learned a lot about the offshore industry from some very sharp people in various forums. What always puzzled me was the lack of activity in the horse forum as I know that people who play poker, and bet on sports, def. play the ponies. Yet it always seemed it was the same one or two posters every day and their was no real capping going on , nor was there any gv and take between posters re; picks ...............I play poker both live and online and find that handicapping a card or two is a good way to pass the time when i'm getting no cards or if there are big carryovers to take shots at ....................Anyway , today it seemed that everyone had something they liked and shared their info and i would guess that most of us made a nice score today (tx again G !!) It seems everyone has their own area of expertise , and tracks they are comfortable with , whether it be SDS w/ the trotters or G-MONEY at Oaklawn or MAZELTRICK in CA. ,when everyone shares their info, there is enough quality 'cappin here to make this forum very profitable ...........JMO , but I know I would not have come up with WATCHMANS WARNING today , but because G posted it , i played it ................this should be the way it is here ,as i know most are online during the day ............I guess what I'm tryin to say is , if we collectivelly put our two cents in every day , this forum could be a great source of info and we could probly come up with some nice prices by sharing information ...........Either way , I'm glad to see some activity here for a change and hope it continues as we head towards the Derby !!!!

Jimmy,

Could Not Agree More, This Place Is One Of The Best Right Now For Horses. I Must Admit, I Picked Up Forum To Day Just To Monkey Around And Came Up With Those Pick's. My Expertise So To Speak Is Really The Il. Racing Circut. So When We Start Up Next Saturday, I Hope I Can Add More Value.

But Guy's Like Al,smooth And Other New Comers, who I'am Sorry I Can Not Name All, Is What Really Makes This Place Tick.

So Guy's Keep Up The Good Work, And New Guy's Jump On In.

There Is Alot Of Value In Here...........................g.

only been to one (WINNING COLORS) but had a huge future wager on Monarchos .................watched that bad boy come home at the MIRAGE in Vegas..............had him at 17-1 and he was 9-1 at post time, cashed the ticket and entered the $5000 stud event at the WSOP ( finished 32nd, they paid 16)

had $125 WPS on Monarchos at an off shore place that never paid. Very exciting at the time however. Hit that Oaks Derby Double with him on track and had the LAte rolling double with him on track so made soemthing. Kept one Monarchos $2 win ticket and have it signed by Chavez! One of my favorites in my collection!!

he was back at the next Derby and I asked him on Oaks day as he came on the track to the walking ring to sign it. There is a passage and a railing where the jockeys walk past the fans and sign if they have time (Pat Day signs the most). When I said Monarchos, he smiled ear to ear and came over to me!@@

I agree gang... this is probably the most active racing forum of any of the boards I post regularly at. I see we all have our own niche in racing... west coast, Ill., trotters, etc... My bread and butter tracks have always been Philly, Delaware Park, ACRC/Monmouth/Meadowlands, Maryland, Fair Grounds, and smaller venues like Penn and Finger Lakes. Only in the last few months have I gotten in NYRA a little more. Many years ago I did some analysis for a now defunct harness website covering Cal Expo. Until I got my NJ betting account, I was a regular up at the Meadowlands at night or Freehold, Monmouth, or Philly during the day. My handicapping is a mixture of things, I actually had software created for my system which has done pretty well over a couple of years... but I use a long list of angles (and am always trying new ones), and have created a number of figures (pace, speed, power, etc) which I never have time to really use.

I have to say that I am very pleased by the effort and activity over here... I have not seen any malicious comments and have seen a lot of winners!

I will try to add some comments to my plays as time permits.

Thanks again to everyone who makes this a great place to post & chat!

When I first came on here it was hard to believe you guys were
really horse players. I mean, Cappers are DEGENERATES,EGOTISTICAL
and HARD HEADED right? I was just biding my time to get blasted by
some of my posts but it never happened. Then as time passed, people
were even pulling for me or my picks to do well, even if they had posted
something different...HMMMM...Something is wrong. This isn't like any
place I've been to before and I'm still waiting to get pummeled or invited
to a "quilting bee".
All kidding aside...nice place, nice people, nice picks.
