Jimmy Rollins is not the only one bashing them. Kenny Lofton, Brett Myers, Ed Wade(GM) and Charlie Manual have all bashed them in the last week. The fans are so pissed at this team for a lack of heart. The GM is a complete idiot. Charlie Manual has cost them at least 5 games this early in the year with bonehead managing. He has forgotten to double switch several times this year with the pitcher leading off the next inning. He let Aaron Fultz pitch to Albert Pujols earlier in the year. Pujols knocked in the game winning run. There was a writer from Philly travelling with the Cardinals and LaRussa and he came on the radio explaining that the Cardinals coaches and LaRussa were laughing so hard at how stupid Manual was. I live in Philly and usually hate Philly fans but I agree with them here. This team is awful. The players are the most heartless group ever assembled. I'm not a Phillies fan and I find myself laughing at how little $96 million can buy these days. They have the 4th highest payroll in the majors.

They are clueless. Got a new stadium and figured they could blow some cash, but have no idea about a good investment. I do give them the benefit of the doubt though, they are still in a lousy situation with a number of middle age guys at a point where they will start demanding big money. At least they didn't give into Milton and give him a fat contract too. They need a manager and GM that believes in youth and gives them a shot. Maybe the relative weakness of the division right now has convinced them to go for it, but they just don't have enough to get it done.

Have to side with the fans here. Philly fans can be a little nuts and a little quick to turn on a team. But in this case it certainly is warranted.

The team has no heart. The have guys who put up numbers like Abreau and Burrell but not when it counts. They get their homers when the score is 8-2. This team has underacheived for years now and the most pathetic part is the excuses they always make. Like all teams players get hurt. This team always uses that as a crutch. Liek they are saying they need Thome and Lofton back now. KENNY FRICKEN LOFTEN, a 64 year old platoo player. Like that is ging to help. They were playing just as bad with those guys. When they get healthy they'll blame it on still being a a new ballpark or something.

Meanwhile their players are getting older and less productive definitely a team on the decline.

Bunch of pansies accept Rollins and Utley. Freakin Abreau stops ten feet from the wall every deep fly.
