Chiefs/Dolphins. They could have picked the Browns/Texans. They know the "Swifties" will pay for it. Still it's amazing to take that game off of regular TV. I thought for sure it would be Browns/Texans because it would be lower rated. This is a bad move for league. I know it's all about the dollars. Peacock is paying $110 million for the game but they are screwing a lot of people. It's one thing to put TNF games on Amazon. But that is for the regular season. I don't think this stops with a wild card game. Next they will put a divisional game on Peacock. It's only a matter of time. People say go to a bar. How many bars do you know that have subscriptions to Peacock. Now you are asking a bar to not only pay for cable but pay for Amazon to show TNF games and then get a sub to Peacock to show a wild card game. This was announced after the SNF game. Wait to the backlash happens when fans wake up tomorrow. Naturally the NFL will deal with it but it's going to be huge because of the game they picked.

Wait til the Super Bowl is on Tik Tok.

For the first year since it started, I didn't get the Sunday Ticket package. The NFL is becoming just another turn off. This douche move is just another.

Ask YT how much they lost this year on the Sunday Ticket and what it's projected to lose when their contract expires. It's mind boggling.

Great business decision.

The stand alone MNF game is a pure joke as well. Don't get me started!

Tell us your old without telling us your old

Hey

ESPN is a paywall also

So any game you ever watched on ESPN is a paywall
Only difference is peacock is a cheaper paywall

this is called progress.

But since this not something you have been doing since 1981

This was announced months ago that games would be on peacock.

peacock also shows EPL, college hoops, golf, and college football so it’s nothing new to a sports fan.

Sucks that u can’t watch the game on your normal tv station. Your best bet is to find the game online or get a service where u can watch the nbc feed from either Miami or Kansas City

It's not the $6. How many fucking streaming services do you have to sign up for. ESPN is on cable. You don't need a smart TV or a computer to watch. Obviously it's a higher tier. You give the NFL an arm next year they will coming for your dick. Be interesting to see the ratings for this game vs games on ESPN, Fox, CBS and NBC. Oh, by the way. Peacock no longer offers free trial. No doubt many will just subscribe to watch this game and then cancel at the end of the month. I guess they will pick some subscribers for the Summer Olympics as expanded coverage will be on Peacock.

I won't pay $ 1 to watch something I can't already watch. I don't pay for those add-ons sports networks

Whatever games are offered on my existing TV options are the only games I'll watch. At some point, we have to say enough is enough

But you are already paying something for what you’re watching It’s not free. You either have cable, satellite or go with streaming services. I’ve gone to streaming for all now. Found it to be much cheaper than satellite. I don’t disagree with what you say though. Eventually you have to stop and say enough is enough.

I won't pay more, it's a rather simple position.

I know I'm already paying for whatever streaming or cable service I choose, I won't pay more for games specifically designed to take more money from me. However small that may be, I won't pay more

Spot on with both your posts. $6 a month for movies, shows and sports. The cheapskates that bitch about it probably don't have cellphones. It's not the 70s anymore guys.

What do you think they want out of it?

DTV seemed pretty happy about losing the Sunday Ticket. Now, obviously Google has much more money than DTV and losses are basically dollars to them.

NBC paid $110 million just to broadcast this one game. That's ~$3.4 million per owner.

I would imagine next year they will try and get 2 games in this format given how the NFL operates.

Note: If you live in Miami or KC, the game will be broadcast on your local NBC channel.
