I didn't think there was any physical contact initiated by the defender, and it's about time someone had the courage to not make a bailout call

no contact, no interference

there was actually a better case for offensive pass interference with the WR grabbing the defenders face mask

PS: whoever called their expert in booth official Mike Periera an asshole last week is right. He committed to calling it a good call before it was overturned and after he watched a replay, he couldn't switch and show his true colors after that.

Can anyone tell me why neither he or the announcers even bothered to mention the WR grabbing the face mask? what a bunch of hacks

remember, there's no such thing as "face guarding"

Holding?
BS

which one? :)

I think officials make bogus calls on defensive holding all game every game. I believe if there was no advantage gained or lost, there should be no call. Defenders put their left hand on somebody's shoulder which has zero impact on that player AND the ball was thrown to the opposite side and they still call defensive holding, that shit is sickening.

I think the holding by the linebacker on Dunbar did impact the play (the linebacker tackled him and knocked him down). If that's the call your asking about, I thought that was a good call. I know there was another call on that same drive that I didn't see but heard them talking about

I dont mind picking up the flag, cause I want less penalties called in the game

However I have never seen a flag picked up AFTER the penalty had already been announced

WTF???

It was blatant PI.

Both made minimal contact with each other and the defender while shielding the receiver didnt make any more contact.

In general I would not want that called as PI.... however they usually do, so whatever

Even if one thinks it was a good no call, they should have been penalized 15 yards for Dez Bryant coming out to the field arguing the call with his helmet off.

He didn't play the ball and made contact. 2 for 2.

That's fine if they call it for/on both teams....it seems weird that they don't do that. There are 2 sets of rules. One for the team winning..one for the team losing.

no it wasn't

on the post game show the worst thing they said about the call from the studio it what smalldaddy said above, they never seen it reversed after it was announced. Maybe the referee jumped the gun, IDK.

if any call were to me made, it would be on the receiver yanking the defenders face mask with the ball in the air

the defender face guarded, not a penalty

well, that's totally true

the only thing consistent about NFL officials is that they're inconsistent

face guarded and impeded the receiver from getting back to the ball thats PI if he turns his head and runs through receiver thats not PI as he has a right to the ball

I didn't see that, and I'm not condoning or discussing any other calls or no-calls. I'm a referee basher, I think they're ruining the game
