I know what I said last night, it was just an incredibly frustrating day… No more on that, just pressing forward.

Sometimes in football when I tried to cap those games myself, I’d look at the card for that Sunday and NOTHING jumped off the page. Every single game I could make a case for one team or the other. The deeper I looked the more clueless I became. So I’d fumble (no pun intended) around usually just take My Eagles, good teams and the faves and some overs. I’d get crushed most times. That’s why, in football, I rely one 2 or 3 guys here. This hoops card for today, and probably tomorrow. At first glance looks incredibly similar to football. But, like in baseball, the deeper I look the CLEARER the games with VALUE become. But, if sports betting was easy, everyone would win all the time… these games moving forward are probably going to be decided by 0.5 - 3pts for or against! It’s incredibly difficult as there’s no crystal ball and most of these teams, with current rosters, have NEVER faced each other nor have they played many, if any similar teams. It’s why there’s NEVER been a perfect bracket in billions of attempts!! Theres no real sample size! It’s literally apples to oranges so we do our best. And heres my best effort as we will be down to 16 teams by tomorrow evening!

(ID NORMALLY RISK AN ADDITIONAL UNIT, 1 being 2 and the 2 unit play would be a 3 unit play but the momentum has shifted so treading lightly until we get it back.)

This habit requires, among other things, mental toughness. And that is a trait you most certainly have. Real capping is real work. I used to do it and it takes a toll. I’ve been on a run since Mich St beat Maryland 3 and a half weeks ago. You’ve been a big part of that run. You and those MVC unders. Along the way, I’ve been tempted to up my bets. But, somehow during this run I’ve stayed with consistent amounts. Just waiting for the bad day. We’ve had that day and I didn’t get hurt. Still way ahead. Thanks again for all your efforts.

My brother. I like your picks today. I completely can relate to NFL Sundays going thru the card and not liking anything and doing basically same thing. Bet some good teams and overs and lose. With that being said. Here's to a winning Saturday!

A few days ago I posed the question, Can u be on the correct side but lose the bet? I get confused when discussing the outcome of a game and the person will say to me… That was the right side! My thought is, I lost so how is that the right side?!?!
Bottom line: the only RIGHT side is the WINNING side, bad beat or not.

I think ya can cap a game correctly and lose. In Basketball dudes get in early foul trouble, get hurt, miss free throws(yes it's part of the game I know). Sometimes a kid comes in and plays way over his head gets his team a W. Also a player who plays steady game after game has a terrible game. They're kids it happens. Trick is to be on the right side the winning side more times than not. You do really well with your picks just goes the other way sometimes. Your work is greatly appreciated 👏

The trick, as u call it… is the trick!
At 61% we are on the “right” side more often than not! U can’t earn a profit at 55% or below!
regardless, thanks for ur kindness and support!

Ur case in point… Col St yesterday had 3 players set season highs in scoring and the teams shooting %! One kid had a 4 year college career high in 3s by halftime! Memphis was the right side but Col St way way way over performed!
Can u tell that one still stings a bit? 😞

Last thing. I hate to clutter threads so I'm out after this. Don't let the idiots on here getcha down. There are some real A holes on this site that do nothing but crap on ppl. When they have a losing day. My guess is you being a former marine can more than hold your own against whatever they throw at ya.

It’s just annoying more than anything. Some ppl just follow ur top play and not the whole card. In case no one has noticed though… I don’t actually play IN the games. lol… it’s whatever bro, Not a big deal just an annoyance. It’s age old for this site. The many grateful outweigh the few but it’s the few that can F it up for the many. My heads on straight… I flick em off me eventually

Creighton is playing great ball, lots of value there. I put $7.77 on Robert Morris to win at half time at +1400 late in game they were only down 1 pt. So why not take Creighton +9 and put some on Creighton ML

Great point. Historically I only take a ML with shorter odds. Nothing concrete but +1400 is like a 14-1 shot right? Perhaps it’s a good spot for the the ML but for me the Value is in the spread. Not to mention I’m being a bit cautious due to recent slight turn of events. If I had a substantial winning day yesterday instead of a 6+ unit loss, I’d probably be a bit more loose with adding +MLs. That being said, no harm in a small non posted parlay which includes Creighton ML.
Good luck regardless!
