I disagree to some point. It is pretty wide open, but I personally would be very surprised if the Chi Sox, Twins, D-Backs, Mets, Phillies, Cards or Brewers won it.
I think it's between the Red Sox, Cubs, Angels, Rays and I'd throw the Dodgers in there if they can make the playoffs because their pitching is so good. I'd be willing to bet no other team wins the World Sereis, but having 4 or 5 contenders is pretty wide open.
Ok, if the Red Sox win it all, I will be surprised as anybody...........just as I was in 2004 and 2007.
Have a nice day,

ps-having the Red Sox win it all or not has very little meaning to me and is of no real concern. What I'm eating for supper is 10x more important and concerning to me.
I'd say the White Sox and Angels are the most prepared for the Playoffs in the AL because they have no injuries and they are very experienced. The Red Sox have the experience but w/o Beckett being healthy, and losing Manny, I just don't think they can do it again.
The White Sox have two starters who have had great post seasons. The Angels have arguably the best rotation in baseball. I'd say the Cubs are the best team in the NL, but if the D-Backs and Brewers make the playoffs it could be a tough road. Having to possibly beat Haren, Webb, CC, and Sheets is tough. We'll see. It should be a hell of a run the rest of the way.
