Florbath or whatever the fuck his name is, was 25-30 last year and had 5, 50+ FG's.

Today he is booting them at ease, my question, why didnt he enter draft last year? he is as good as they come?

Kickers don't enter the draft early because NFL teams don't usually draft kickers. Even more rare is a kicker taken in an early, big-money round.

Not Al Davis. Spent a first round pick on some Pollock kicker out of FSU a few years back. And the Bears drafted Kevin Butler in the 2nd or 3rd round back in '84(?).:103631605

I didnt think he would be taken early, but i personally would like this guy instead of Tynes on the Gmen.

Any dude who can kick 5, 50+ kicks in one season can do it on any field be it an NFL or NCAA, i dont see any difference for kickers, as their is probably even more or just as much pressure in college

They are at no risk of injury, and you have to be the best in the nation to get picked in the first 3 rounds. (2nd or 3rd, nobody would go in round 1)

The Packers took Mason Crosby in the 6th round, but it doesn't happen often.

Seems like there was a highly touted kicker come out of UCLA about 20 years or so ago who went in a really high round then never did anything in the NFL. Can't for the life of me remember the guy's name, though.

The footballs are bigger in the NFL, there is a difference. There's definately alot more pressure in the NFL because the leash is shorter.

John Lee, that's the old UCLA kicker I was thinking of. Was drafted in the second round as was a total bust. He's a big reason teams don't draft kickers anywhere in the upper rounds.

Bucks you didn't actually go to bed. nice call tonight :toast:
I turned the game off, watching WNBA game.

If anyone thinks TEN didn't gift wrap the game and my capping was off is just retarded. I could've coached Tennessee to a 20pt win.

I thought that at first, but i also thought tennessee would have 5 or 6 sacks.

UCLA o-line played surprisingly well.

Tenn still should have put it away early.

Turning the channel from football to the WNBA would make me think that you would coach Tennessee to a 50 point loss and alot of menstal cramps and some crying after the game.
