The talk is already starting about P. Manning sitting out

Next week vs Denver, I am already hearing that we should not expect Manning to play much more than the 1st qtr and certainly no more than the 1st half. What I think this means is that the Colt offense will really try to have a nice day today in the RCA dome. Manning hoping to get record out of the way & hoping to get Stokely that 10th TD. Who gets the record catch? Can James lead the league in rushing? San Diego may come in today and whoop up on Indy, but they will have to do so with the help of Colt mistakes. Don't forget the booing Manning got last Sunday night. I fully expect a good showing today as this is really the season finale and final reg season home game. I have been wrong about 88% of the time in NFL, so let me share my opinions for your fading pleasure today.

Baltimore Ravens plus 4 1/2
Indianapolis Colts minus 7
New England Patriots minus 1 1/2
Dallas Cowboys plus 2

I like the Indy play and Ne. I must admit I am a huge Colts fan too. I normally don't play a game where my heart can affect my head but I saw that the public is on SD big time. That makes the Colts and even better play. Good luck General.

if this is the case - the colts would be beyond stupid to play manning at all - or for more than 1 quarter - ASSUMING he has the TD pass record. imagine explaining to the media and fans how come peyton turned his ankle and has to miss the post-season because he was playing in a 100% MEANINGLESS game! that would be some presse conference and we know people would be screaming for dungy's head - and ya know what - THEY WOULD BE RIGHT! if next week's denver game is meaningless for the colts - i don't even take manning on the trip. we know what the weather will be like in denver so why would i even want him standing on the sidelines freezing his ass of. peyton/harrison/edge and a few others wouldn't even get on the plane if i was the coach.
