Polls are almost funny ....

Depending upon which Poll you want to believe, both Bush and Kerry are winning

And the large surge of voters is not good news for Bush .. there is a lot of discontent with his administration and this thing is too close for anyone to call right now

Not as much discontent with the thought of having a peacenik like Kerry as our commander and chief in a time of war.

I agree with you on the polls Doc, but when Dems are admitting the momentum is switching to Bush two days before the election they are really in trouble. If Florida stays GOP, this thing is over.

I agree polls really mean nothing...anything can happen when people get into the booths

The polls are literally all over the place and it depends what polls you look at and what assumptions you use. I think both campaigns honestly believe they will win but honestly are not sure who will win. It truly is anybodys guess.

If you're talking about who's worried -- they both are.

My opinion is that the massive turnout, especially new voters, has always traditionally been:
1. bad for Republicans
2. bad for imcumbents.

Bush is both. That is my angle. But who knows.

There is a large movement of folks voting not so much for Kerry as against Bush ...

This large turnout is not good news for the Bushies ....

I personally know roughly 2 dozen votes that have not voted in the past 4 elections .. they are all voting this time in protest against Bush

Kerry is the war hero (3 purple hearts) and W is the draft dodger (Cheyney too with 4 deferrments)
in this race. If favoring peace when possible over war than Kerry knows of which he speaks. Bush sends other people's kids to die in a disaster of a war while he hid out in Alabama and couldn't even stay there and act the role when he was needed in Viet Nam.
If lack of the total hypocrisy and cowardice that comprises Bush's whole life makes Kerry a peacenik than bring him on!

Kerry is a fukkin TRAITOR that conspired with the communist in 1970 to defeat America. Kerry received a less than honaorable discharge from the Navy. This is truly a sad state we are in.

Gameface, do I detect a hint of concern in your tone over this election? Are you becoming less confident in your 7%, 70 EV win prediction?

Well said ...

It is a sad state of affairs when intelligent folks like yourself are willing to overlook the failed Bush term in the White House ...

Kerry may not be the answer but I am ready for a fresh start ...

And this traitor crap is just that ... Crap

Kerry had the balls to come back and speak out against a war in which our vets were treated like crap when they got back to this country .. he said things Johnson / Nixon later said on tape ... the TV commercial the Bush campaign ran chops off the first half of the talk in front of congress in which Kerry told the information passed onto him was by over 150 of his comrades ...

Kerry a traitor? I consider someone like Cheney & Rove traitors as they did not have the guts to serve in combat and now have the guts to smear an American who fought in combat for this country over in Vietnam

D2,

No concern at all. My final numbers are Bush 53% Kerry 47% Bush by 63+ EV.

I adjusted a bit because the demcrats cheat better than the republicans.

Why do the demi's underestimate GW's charm? The media has pulled out all the stops Soro's and the other communists outspending GW 507's 9 to1, this would have to go down as the easiest victory since Reagan in '84 if things go as expected... I predict the media will turn harshly on Kerry on Wednesday to try save their own souls. LUCIFERS.

D2,

Even with the cheating Bush wins. There are reports out of Ohio that more people are registered in some areas than people exists, so the dems are up to no good.

Yep, Something like 35,000 more registered voters than eligible voters in just one county in Ohio. I can hear it all ready, the demi's will say: "So what 35,000 more voters doesn't compare to 350 tons of weapons missing." It would make as much sense as anything else they've come up with, thus far.

REPUBLICAN PARTY DECEIVING VOTERS IN WEST VIRGINIA

Charles Town, W.V., Oct . 31, 2004 – Democratic leaders in one of the
nation’s most hotly-contested battleground states are receiving reports
of voter suppression activities that can be traced back to the
Republican Party. The suppression activities have continued despite
warnings from officials in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties.

“These phone calls are outrageous and illegal,” says Michael Cassell,
Chairman of the Jefferson County Democratic Party. “They are designed
to suppress the vote for John Kerry and all democrats. The republicans were warned before, but they continue to break the law”

In mid-October, John Smalls, County Clerk in Berkeley County, W.V.,
sent a letter to the Eastern Panhandle Republican Party about phone
calls that were traced back to its headquarters. The calls made to
Democrats in this tri-county area 60 miles northwest of Washington,
D.C., informed Democratic voters they were either not registered at
all, or would not be able to vote on election day.

At that time, Republican Party spokesperson Mary Diamond admitted that some mistakes may have been made. She said the calls were made to determine if people were registered to vote.

but???

But, should you count the ones in which he had self inflicted wounds from ******* around with grenades?

I can admit Bush has made mistakes, but to vote for someone for just a fresh start, when he has no specific plans for Iraq, just that he will do it better is a joke.
