ANYONE IN VEGAS, WHATS UP WITH THE OFFER OF 69.00 FOR 4 NIGHTS.There is a whole write up about it,but the red tape is what im worried about,so does anyone have the real lowdown on what you have to do,and whats involved with such a low price

After taxes and resort fees, the room will be about $60 per night. So it's not the super deal it appears to be. I'd rather pay a few more bucks and not stay in a shit hole. Horrible location too.

If you are looking for a budget trip, I'd stay downtown. I was down there last month and it was hopping. Good security presence too. Much more security around than on the Strip. You could stay somewhere like the California and not pay a whole lot more than you would booking this Strat deal. And it's right next to the Circa which you could spend most of your time.

The Westgate is in the neighborhood but not really across the street. Probably a good 10-15 minute walk door to door. In a really shady area. I would not recommend walking that at night.

There is mad construction going on all over the place is why. The hotel is clean and the room you are getting is perfectly fine. If you can handle walking through what's outside you are in good shape.

westgate is a nice long walk and so is the strip. the neighborhood sucks so go for a few bucks more and stay at a good hotel on the strip.

Why? I’ve done it many times. Even downtown to West Gate.

Like any city, be aware if your surroundings and don’t be a idiot and you will be fine.

That's not a terrible deal although you might wait until Resorts World is open and then you can plan to see that new casino. I would not walk to Westgate, day or night, although walking to Resorts World is safer since it is all on the strip. Either way, remember summer is coming if you are thinking about walking anywhere. I would check around and you might find something better. Tropicana (a Hilton affiliated resort) has some decent deals, but the resort fee is a lot higher). I never recommend anyone stay downtown unless you want to check out Circa, but their room rates currently mirror high-end strip properties.
