I hate sounding like an idiot but I must ask this question.

Just exactly what is the difference between a "post up" and a "credit" shop?

Post up you deposit money before you play,credit you play on credit and usaully settle with a agent every week

Not necessarily. Many people play on credit offshore. You'd need to know somebody or go through an agent, but many people do it.

Hmm, I didn't realize that.

I'm glad I didn't know that in my twenties because I probably would have ended up in trouble. The learning years were tough enough as it was.
