Good point that Dirk and Howard didn't have great games and they still covered. It almost looks too easy taking Dallas. Then again, a lot of sides in these playoffs looked easy and they covered.

the line is about drawing equal action on both sides, it is not about what the final score would be...

had the line been set at 10.5, punters would have LOADED UP on MIAMI... at a rate of over 95%.... Of course due to the 14 point win, the bookies would have been laughing, but they are trying to draw in equal action, thats their job, & 4.5 was the number to do it with.
