Kickers... Have all of Bobby Bowden's painful lessons been forgotten?
If I could give one piece of advice to major college coaches it would be this: Don't trust that you'll find a solid kicker from among the walk-ons, set aside one scholarship for that position and go get the top kid from the state.
(Mack Brown, I'm looking at you. We still haven't forgotten how Mason Crosby was just up the road from Austin but went to Colorado because you insisted freshman kickers had to walk on.)
