Texas only got in because Mac brown whinned to the media and begged for votes. California got robbed and has too much class to beg. I only hope Texas loses 95-0 and embarresses themselves in the Rose Bowl.

Another reason for a play-off system like Div. 2 and 3 schools.

Cal lost its spot on saturday night.

Not a lot of people get to see Cal and they get a National audience only going up against the OU/CU game and they totally sucked.

I was hoping to see Cal in the Rose Bowl, not really because I think they deserved it but I wanted to see Mack Brown cry some more.

He is one of the only coaches to stand up and say something needs to be done.
To many coaches just don't speak their mind.

If Texas was out Mack would still be whining and hopefully other coaches would also stand up and say what they think and maybe eventually pressure the BCS into a plus one game.

A plus one game might not of helped Texas this year but I think it will eventually get to that point.
USC vs Texas (USC would kill them as USC's run D rocks but pass D overrated)
OU vs Auburn (edge to OU but Auburn sure could win)

Wouldn't that just be awesome this year, except for Cal that lost its spot saturday night.

Exactly and that is why the BCS sux donkeys. The Rose Bowl, for one, loses its charm when a non Pac10/Big10 team plays, and besides that, just the idiocy once again why this system is BY FAR the worst thing in all major sports

Mack Brown begging for the last week has been almost embarrassing .... Cal goes on the road and wins and Texas does not play and passes Cal???

Embarrassing and I hope Michigan pounds Texas like Iowa did in a bowl game out on in Anaheim in the 80's ... Iowa beat em 55-17 and hopes the same sceanario unfolds in Pasadena ...

Cal loses in a shootout vs USC and Texas cant score a pt on Oklahoma ...

Do ya realize Mack Brown has NEVER WON A CONFC TITLE in his entire coaching career??? Hell, Kirk Ferentz has won 2 in short stint at Iowa with no where near the talent Brown has year in and year out ...

Put down the tinted glasses & get real, Texas are a bunch of frauds. Cal gave the "supposed" #1 team in the country a better game then Texas did to #2 Oklahoma. Yes, they lost 12-0 but hell it could have been 3-0 & you knew they were going to lose.

If Michigan plays their C game they should whip these pussies a new one. I'm with Kody strong here, Michigan + anything is a gift.

I am starting my own sportsbook so you PAC 10 lovers can lose money to me.

Cal lost their chance in the spotlight. They are screwed this year, just like texas was last year. Besides OU, Texas has played well against good competition. We are 2-3 in our last 3 bowl games. Anything before that doesn't include current players. Cal may have outplayed USC, but they lost. And if you want to use the total yardage argument, than USC should be a one loss team and Auburn/OU should be playing for NC. They never once let a team out yardage them.

Cal almost lost at home to Oregon. Come on! UT almost lost to Kansas, granted, but that was on the road. For some reason what lacked in that game was our defense.

But everyone has lackluster games. I have already waisted my breath (typing desire) on a different forum, but Texas will win and will cover.

Don't give me last year's bowl game for evidence. We were very unmotivated. This year, we don't need any motivation. Plus, we have a badass defense. Same thing that happened to us last year will happen to Cal this year. Why would they care to play well? Here's a tip, take TTech on the ML, not b/c they are the better team, but b/c they will play better come gametime.

Don't give me the arugment about stacking the box, because don't you think everyone considers Texas a running team? Don't you think they have done it all year?

Don't give me the argument that since OU shut down our running game, so will Michigan. Michigan's defensive line is not near as good.

Don't give me the argument that VY is a bad passer. He is completing 70% of his passes as of late.

The Big 10 has always struggled with duel-threat QB's, how will that change here?

Ignorance. Yall are the same people who pounded A&M in the T+1 matchup I am sure.

I only read on this forum about once a week, but some people....Geeze man, Give Texas some respect. At least we aren't bashing Cal, and when Cal loses (if they do) we won't throw it in their face next year (at least I won't). This is a great opportunity for both Michigan and Texas in recruiting purposes. Especially for Michigan, since there is a plethora of highschool talent in Texas, and they will be tuned in for that game.

I am done...bring on the bashing....

Mack Brown did what he had to do to get us in the BCS. He's a better politician than Rick Perry. He also was the only coach to speak up about the BCS.

I love all the Texas haters. B/C I'll turn around and root for my top 20 basketball program, my top 10 baseball program. We don't need to rely on one sport or anything. The top 20 education is nice too.

I feel real bad for Auburn and for California. It sucks for them. And trust me. I know how it feels.
