The Rookie's Week 8 NCAAF Thread YTD: 10-4 +6.7

Coming off back to back winning weeks in college, I am looking for a third in Week 8. Last week, I went 4-4 and won .7 units. Tonight, I am going with UCLA over California. California is ranked 19th nationally, but they have yet to face the toughest part of their conference schedule. Besides UCLA, they still have USC, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford and Arizona State as their final 5 games. I expect UCLA's defense to play much better in this one as they got embarrassed last time out versus Stanford. Mora will have his team ready to play after 2 straight losses. The home crowd on a Thursday night should also be electric. You know them college kids want a win on Thirsty Thursday!

Adding a few games for tomorrow. I really like the Texas and Kansas State game. I expect a low scoring game from both teams with the weather so I am going with Kansas State and the under. 1-2 inches of rainfall are expected in Austin. That should mean a heavy dose of each team's running game. While each team is very good against the run, Texas is allowing 60 more yards per game. That's enough for me to go with the Wildcats. Card has a few more favorites than I typically go with, but I like it nonetheless. Utah is an underdog against a USC team that has recently lost their coach? Seems like Vegas knows something we don't. BOL to everybody tomorrow!!

Went 6-1 on the day and 7-1 on the week. Great week of college football for me. Won 5.9 units this week. That's 3 straight weeks in the green now. Let's keep it rolling tomorrow in the NFL.
