Hey fletch, you ever hear of Stephen F. Cohen? I was listening to him last night driving home, he's a Professor of Russian Studies. He was pretty interesting, and made it known that a lot, if not most of his colleagues disagree with him. I thought a lot of what he said made sense.

Never heard of him but i do appreciate the link. I will actually look into this now before bed. Ill let you know my thoughts on it and see where we both come out as i find this topic interesting and vital going forward.

I read a few of the pieces on that site you linked last night. Very thorough reads. The man is CLEARLY on another level regarding his FP intellect regarding any country much less one as vital as Russia. He appeared much to my surprise on Tucker Carlson tonight and then i started to make the connections because i seen this guy on CNN and NPR, CSPAN and the like over the years. Guy is fucking brilliant and i share his thoughts on the subject just about 100%. The video i enclosed was from a good one before Christmas. I couldnt find the one from last night. I admire someone who has spent more years then ive been alive studying a country and its politics in relation to ours and has the ability to communicate such a complex and absurdly complicated topic as there is in FP in US & Russia relations. Only the MEast politics are probably more complicated but it seems anyone knowledgeable there has an agenda or already has preconceived notions of truth. Good catch here, and good to see your around as well Texas. Stay safe too. Its open season on good men (with a badge) like you anymore.

Regarding the interview I heard, it was on Coast to Coast, the 1/9 episode I believe. You can perhaps get it on the podcast, though I'm not sure if it's free or not.
