I love it - tons of energy (not NYC) but a fun city - millions of things to do - summers are pretty hot - traffic sucks - housing has gotten stupid expensive with all people for the NE, South America and Europe that want to own here - I would have Miami and Northern Cali are my favorite areas

A company a few years back bought entire sections of urban downtown Detroit for 10k a block.. These are areas that at one time were worth millions and probably will be once again.

I grew up outside of Detroit and the destruction of the Democratic policies and union strong arming were very difficult for this area and it's citizens.

I agree with Seymour it is an amazing city with so much potential...just gotta get some people in charge that know what the fuck they are doing.

Is it irony or not that two of the most successful cities in our country at one time (Flint and Detroit) are now total waste shit holes after being run by Democrats for decades.

Huge undy.. thats my point , i have a solution to all of the division im looking for a beter platform and also a politician at the local level to champio this solution..... i dont have the time to present it to it do it justice now BUT.. instead of cutting back social programs that pay for peoples welfare , free housing , free food , healthcare and school.. as a tax payer you can appoint 1 family member or friend you decide to recieve this full package .. this would prevent animosity when u are at the markey and see someone loading groceries into a lexus suv after you saw them use an EBT card.. with this method that could be technically A Trump or a Bush family or friend that was protected by them under the program that allows them to add a family member or friend to welfare.. i can explain better tho

Well I live just outside the city. I have been in every neighborhood in the city. Downtown is blowing up. Every building that can be rehabbed into apartments or condos is filled before they are even done. Outside of downtown is a shithole. The east side is a complete disaster. The schools are horrible.
