If WR Martavis Bryant has a HUGE playoff run. With no running game, really bad pass defense and all eyes on Antonio Brown.

Bryant has to step up or they are done!!

Agreed. They are just not Super Bowl material.

If defense wins championships, they better get one because their secondary gets torched on a regular basis. They absolutely cannot stop any team that can throw the ball.

guy has the worst hands of any wr in nfl. if this is their ticket to a playoff run it's over before it started

only way they get on a playoff run is if 1977's Mel Blount and 1993's Rod Woodson are starting at CB this month

Pitt's offense is enfuego right now. But I agree.

I don't think they can win 4 games in a row away from home with that defense.

As flawed as DEN is and beat up as NE is, I think either team will beat them when/if they match up.

I would personally give KC a better chance at making the Super Bowl than Pittsburgh.

Well I agree their defense is suspect but they do lead the league in turnovers. And that's all you need with s good offense. Plus I think Denver is extremely overrated. They struggled to beat a lot of mediocre teams.

Adding. Steelers or any team for that matter are gonna have a tall order to beat a 12-4 team at home 2 times in a row on their home field within a month.

The Steelers are a dangerous team but only at Home. Not so much on the road..........

I'm a big Steeler fan and follow the team pretty closely. I'm constantly frustrated by the defense with them missing tackles and always looking like they're scrambling because there's a lack of communication.....BUT....Here's the reality...Their defense is 11th in points given up (19.94), 3rd In sacks (48), tied for 3rd in takeaways (30), and 6th in red zone defense. All pretty important stats.

They give up a lot of yards, they make bonehead plays, and they're frustrating to watch as a fan used to good/great shut down defenses...BUT... They don't give up a lot of points and they're capable of scoring 30+ any game against ANY defense.

This team is as good as Ben is. If Ben is on and not turning the ball over, they have a great chance of winning.

If he sucks (like 2 weeks ago in Baltimore) they'll probably lose.

I think they'll be prepared and pull out a victory but it's the NFL and we'll see.

Summary....The defense looks bad to the eye test, but not as bad as you think when it comes to winning games. They find ways to win!
If they lose today (Saturday) it will suck for me as a Steeler fan since I have high hopes for this team but either way...I hope we get good games this weekend and we can make some money!

Good Luck All!

Gotta think Pitt will play somewhat loose by the way they got in and I find you make some real good points. Mistakes are important because in reality you dont get that many possessions in a game. Id much rather back Pitt and Ben and their defense in a situation like this than a rookie QB with a team thats carrying baggage because they can't win a playoff game. Looking forward to the game, GL this weekend
