<TABLE class=tborder cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top><TD class=alt1>Anyone remember the Score lock of the year from the 1980's-90's? The Score release service would always release a college bowl game as the play of the year. They had an incredible winning streak something like 12 straight years or more the pick won. It got to the point guys were waiting to jump on this game and you would see line moves from -3 to -10 etc. However I believe Score has been out of business for sometime now.

i get a little red 2 page letter every week from Score.

it talks about bob dunbar's round table and some other dudes who know it all.

they also use most of the sheet to rip into phil steele.

i dont even open the envelope anymore.

Yep, I get it too, EVERY week during football season. It's followed me to two different addresses too. They do rip on Steele quite a bit, it can be quite humorous.

same story . it has also followed me .

they act as if they never lose.. gotta be some of the biggest scam artists out there.

they name drop like i've never seen before. quoting big name actors and mentioning their million dollar wins using their service.

some of the letters read like letters to penthouse.

" my wife wouldnt have anything to do with me. then i hit a 6 team parlay that bob dunbar gave out and she cant keep her hands off me. actually got a hummer leaving the church parking lot last week. thanks score "

I've been working on an article/forum post on great reading material on sports betting. Probaly the worst book I ever read (and the first one I ever bought) was "How I Make $200,000 A Year Betting Pro Football" by "Harry Pappas". This was around 97' or 98' about six months before I discovered the GBC. Found this at a discount book store in a factory outlet mall. Basically this was put out by Score. The book was just as campy as the letters they publish from "clients". The book is pure comedy. The only good thing I got out of it, was the mailing adress for Pointwise, Little Green Sheet, and the Gold Sheet newsletters. They had a chapter that listed different Football publications, newsletters and their contact info for sample issues/subscriptions.

I also love all "the stars" that are "Score clients". But the letters section is pure comedy.

The newletter states that Bruce Willis and Johnnie Carson have made millions since they have joined the "Round Table".

What a joke.

Honest services consistently hitting around 59% don't make much money at all. It's the Scammers who make decent money. For some reason the average Joe likes bull.

In their heart of hearts, all women are hookers.

Show me the money!

That's why it's so all important to be a successful gambler.
