Given recent events of the past week, I figured I would go at things a bit differently this week....The games that will be selected are not necessarily games I believe will be rigged but rather games where certain teams will be allowed to perform to the level they are capable of performing at...

Remember, a large portion of the season is scripted, so certain teams have certain roles to play when the money is heavy and a different role to play when the money's light...What happens one week will set up certain parts of the script yet to be fulfilled the next week and so forth....

The league screwed up last week, by revealing too much of the script to the public. The plot was leaked, the movie has been bootlegged...so they have to go back to the 1st draft....before the changes were made....Don't be surprised to see things go back to status quo for Week 12....

Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Line - Steelers -10½

LOL....Well where do we begin with this one...They sure know how to pick em eh? One team tied in the most god awful offense performances I have seen from two teams in recent memory...and the other team was the victim of the most horrendous call of the last 25 years in any sport...so what do you do if your the NFL and fans think your league and everything it stands for stinks to high heaven....? Well what do you do when you a take dump in somebody elses washroom? You Light a match and pretend as if nothing ever happened.....In other words Lay off the Bengals this week...

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins

Line - Dolpins -1

Hmmm....Dolpins and the Patriots have identical records...Pats lost last week at home...Dolpins won their 3rd straight...They beat this team rather soundly in New England...back in week 3...so why did this line drop a point immediately after it opened? If it looks like a dog and walks like a dog...and gets more than 50 percent of the action...is it really a dog? Dolphins are a lot smarter than K-9's you know....

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons

Line - Falcons -1

Panthers have not lost since week 6, and likely should have lost in Oakland and could have very well lost against Detroit last week but somehow managed to end up on top in both matchups....They've also beaten this Falcons team at home in Week 4....Me thinks the luck runs out this week.....

Indianapolis Colts @ San Diego Chargers

Line - Chargers 2½

Ahhh....well all is well in NFL land when the Colts start get public money again....line opened up at 3 and dropped a half point almost immediately at several books.....At least some things never change in the NFL...but there is one thing that will change this week in regards to the Chargers....they wont need the refs to cover this time...LOL.....lay off the Colts folks....they'll be back next week...

I agree with all except the Bengals. How can you not bet a team that is a DD dog when DD dogs are 16-1 this year? Only the Giants victory over the 49ers as a DD fave covered this year, and that was with a gift safety.

pittsburgh line is right one. pittsburgh is going to shut cinci down. defensively it is not even a match. offensively they will get it going against cinci. also, cinci has some O-line injuries. nothng suspicious about the other line either man. nothing noble of what you do, suggesting the NFL rigs games week to week..nothing noble at all but whatever rocks your boat i guess.

Makes sense. You can bet your ass that ole Big Crooked Ben is feeling some heat about his ummmmmmmm reaction after that game covering TD the other day. This game will be squeaky clean! Wouldnt surprise me if Ben magically finds the endzone 2-3 times in this one (when he couldnt find it once 4 days ago). Steelers 28-10.

I take that back. Just saw forecast. Real shitty weather expected tomorrow night. Wind & 2-4 inches of snow may be possible. Field is heated but gonna wait until closer to kickoff to see what its like.

Quick question for everyone!

When doing your NFL bets do most of you bet on the over and under on the total points for the game or do you skip it?

I feel comfortable wagering on a winner or the spread but not the over/under. I have plenty of successful gambling experience on the NFL but only against people I knew and not online.

Here goes nothing as I try the online gambling saga for the 1st time ever!:modemman:

I agree...dd fave's are a no-no for me....but this time there are extenuating circumstances...(Saving Face) I wouldn't be surprised to see the number fall on 11...which should help lessen the amount of money the books loose on 10.5....as the line now sits at 11...

What kind of an idiot kicks a field goal on 4th and goal trailing 20-7 with 6+ minutes left in the game against the #1 defense in the league?

Too funny. Two TD's for Big Benster, no turnovers, and he didnt allow himself to take a single sack this game. God bless the NFL.

Luv the Miami & Falcons plays, but going with the Colts Sunday night. If you took the Steelers on account of what happened the week before, you gotta take the Colts under the same circumstances!
