Being Patriotic does not mean blindly following your gov'ts murderous plans, always making excuses why its OK when your gov't is in the wrong, or sitting at home cheering on a war like a bunch of sick perverts.

Supporting this evil war does not equal being patriotic.

DannyMay - Since you don't believe in this war. What do you recommend?

Thanks,
KMAN

Joey,
Can I change my vote? I chose Iran, but they're semi-helping us kill Iraqi civilians, so I think the genocide on Iran will wait at least one more "preventive" genocidal attack.

I would like to change my vote to Syria, because they gave goggles to Iraq. Clearly these are goggles of mass destruction & we must liberate the Syrians from living at once.

Joey,
Please change the title of this thread to "The next genocidial 'liberation' will be with ...". I believe this most acturately reflects Bush's fourth and most current "justification" for killing Iraqis.

1. I doubt whether being patriotic is American values. When those who sailed in Mayflower to the New World, they might be regarded as unpatriotic in view of some of their home town people.
2. Justice, fairness, individual freedom of speech, thought and association, at least being a human with some love to humankind and some basic common sense should come first before patriotism.
2. Over playing patriotism, nationalism can be dangerous. They are often the effective tool for the rulers to supress different opinions, individual freedoms and purging political enemies. The Germans were too patriotic during Hitler era, and sent those disagreeing with Hitler to concentration camps. The Japanese competed among themselves to see who were more patriotic when they attacked other countries, including America. Some Japanese, including the then prime minister, who disagreed with the policy were assasined.

Who's to say?

Perhaps we should ask France, Germany, Russia, or China...as to what we should do regarding OUR national security, or the protection of OUR citizens.

Im sure they ask for our opinion all the time, when the question of their national security is at risk.

it would be nice if this forum's anti-american dolts would put their bongs down long enough to actually find a sliver of common sense. thus, mercifully ending their insidious gerrymandering.

what a collective bunch of mindless, uninformed, misguided pussies.

first Iraq, then France

National security?
The president clearly said during his fourth and most recent "justification" that our mission is to "liberate" the Iraqis.

Can you please clarify your "justification"?
I fear that your still on "reason" number 3, while Bush has moved on to 4.
Thanks.

Are you saying that this "war" is actually about homophobia?

Is homophobia a subset of "national security" or a subset of "liberation"?

Thanks.

Don't worry about lib-lander we go way back he's just misinformed. I think he's just unemployed and is trying to get Ken to hire him.

Remember all the democrat senators that lost in the last elections. The next Us elections will be the war. It's time to get rid of the Hillary swill. It's time to free our country.

Syria should have been first on the list, they are much more involved with "real" terrorism than Saddam ever was or ever would have been.

But then we have a President who isn't going to war mostly for National Security, but for corporate and Zionist interests.

But that's nothing new, it's just too bad we don't wake up to the facts. Just don't be surprised when terrorism gets much worse instead of better.
