here is how my weekend went:

sunday:

play tampa -7 in 2nd 1/2 over carolina. the 1/2 is 3-3 until tampa scores with no time left. all they gotta do is kick the pat and i get a lucky push. NOPE! gramatica's 3rd kick of the game gets blocked and caro wins in ot - and i lose my 2nd 1/2 bet

my fantasy football team ties its game - hurt by a morton anderson missed pat

monday: i have a 3-team teaser - with 2 in (GB and NO). 3rd one is NYG -1. i do have to take some heat here for not taking dallass +7/7.5 and hedging/middling - but i didn't. nyg trails badly the whole game but goes ahead by 3 with 11 seconds left. i got this one won. that is until the ONLY thing that coulda f****d me - happened - nyg kicks the ball out out bounds on the kickoff. dallass ties the game and wins it in ot - costing me my 3-team teaser

i also got the "thank you but we've decided to hire someone else" letter in the mail monday too for a job i thought i had a decent shot at getting (anyone got a job for someone with an MBA?)

other than that - i had a great weekend

the next bad beat contest for a stinking t-shirt is all mine - don't even bother entering folks - i got this one LOCK CITY!

You've got an MBA?
Sorry, just hired someone from the Master Baters Association

. I find degree's somewhat useless, unless the individual has practical experience and street smarts to back it up. Good Luck.

rattler - trust me - got that - and more. did all biz related stuff for mom's company for 11 years and also worked at many tv stations and all. i agree that w/o "real" experience the MBA is worthless.

It's so true. Focus on your practical and applied experience during interviews. The education speaks for itself. Hope you get what you want.
