It's against my religion to do polls this early, but Ohio State isn't in the top 5.

how could the eye test tell you that ohio state even belongs in the top 10 ? they didn't do much against Hawaii and almost got upset today...and dont forget besides the spin move heard round the world from braxton, vtech was winning that game at half. if your going off of their cupcake schedule and where you think they'll end up then i get it....but by no means have they played like a top 4 team this season thus far.

some of this is bitter b/c i wish oregon would of got to play THIS buckeyes team....but if you throw out the preseason rankings then ohio state isn't even sniffing the top 10 right now.

Holy hell guys, have u been smoking rocks? Osu is by far thee best squad in country.
They will sleep walk their way to 13-0. Sparty defense is suspect, they will get served in the shoe. Like always

4 best teams from the eye test...not where they should be ranked...

1. Georgia
2. Ole miss
3. LSU
4. Michigan st./Bama tie

watched osu/niu, Michigan st./afa, LSU/auburn, Uga/South Carolina, ND/GT, Clemson/Louisville, and Bama/ole miss...know it seems homerish, but it is what my eyes see.

I'm seeing a lot of knee-jerk reactions to Ole Piss. I wouldn't put them in my top 4 just yet. In my opinion they don't run the ball good enough to win the NC. They are a good team, but they used up all of their luck for the year against Bama. However if they played a team with a -5 TO margin every week they are a lock. Good luck with that...

I don't think there is wrong listing of the rankings here.. I can see any of these top 10 teams listed beating the other...If I had to list the 4 teams that will end up in the final 4 it would be

1-Ohio St
2-LSU
3-TCU-Baylor winner
4-Oregon-UCLA winner

I don't think TCU is going to last that long. WAY too many defensive issues with that team..

tend to agree with you on this GS.. Does Oklahoma have TCU at home this year ?
Yes, they play OU in Norman, but I think TCU also could lose to Baylor at home. And as we saw this weekend, Texas Tech won't be a piece of cake either. TCU also travels to OSU and KSU. I see at least 2 losses in their future. They also aren't a very good road team, as we saw against Minnesota.

maybe one of my playoff spots should be the Baylor-OU winner

It's always a good day when Bama, USC and Texas lose on the same day. Too bad tOSU and Notre Dame couldn't have joined them. It would have made a mell of a hess out of the playoff picture...

Most likely it comes down to Baylor and OU. But Mike Stoops still hasn't figured out the Baylor offensive scheme. As we against Tulsa, who uses the exact same scheme. He better start doing his homework.

This will be arguably the highest scoring game of the year with two suspect defenses and super power offenses.

Only other possibility is Indiana vs Indiana puff_>>

I agree. And with TCU having already been thin on defense to start the season (just 5 returning starters back) they've lost 2 more starters on defense, with 3 more questionable this weekend. They aren't Ohio St, they just can't reload. TCU will most likely have to outscore TT to win. I don't think they can stop them. And I know TT doesn't have any defense. The total will be in the 80's. Possibly mid 80's for this game. It could be one of the highest totals we've ever seen. Vegas isn't dumb!
