I could understand someone passing this game, but surprise at a Heat stance reflects thinking that all non-Spurs, Pacers and Pistons teams are just proverbial "empty chairs", doormats for juggernauts.
Be careful, "Playboy", of assuming short-term pointspread trends are meaningful indicators of what is to come. Bookmakers adjust prices to public reactions and betting tendencies, and they DO get their share of the money over time. While I wouldn't indiscriminately start betting 'dogs, I would be hard-pressed to find a bettable favorite from here on in this year's playoffs.
