Man you guys are desperate, but I suppose you've got to toot your horn whenever you can.

The place is under a state of curfew/martial law, with all borders sealed.
Reconstruction is almost non-existent.
There's 150,000 US troops stopping the place from descending into anarchy.
Any exit strategy is non-existent.

We, the West, did all this stuff before when we gave up our respective empires'.

Its a Hail Mary job dudes, it would be nice if it worked but they have their own path to follow...

And if it really works the UN will definitely want you to change all the other crappy regimes in the world.

eek..... desperate is what the left is now and yes I know we have alot of worked to be done but yesterday was a huge step for the world and how you root out terrorism.....

History will dictate what happens from now on but the left has been on the wrong side of history for the last 40 yrs and looks like that will continue.

When I see American troops home and the Iraqis - not a Bush hand picked associate - running the country, then Bush can declare "Mission Accomplished" ...

Doc are our kids home from Bosnia,Kosavo, and other wars? We will always have kids at war somewhere but yes bring them home as soon as the Mission is complete but yesterday was a step in the right direction. We need to leave Iraq when the insurgance knows what defeat taste like and knows that these people do want Goverment that they have a say in.....But time will tell
