I think this is the time all of us junkies were waiting for. I mean I watched that preseason game and was in tune like it was a regular season game. Colt looked great, Gray looked like he will be the solid #2 in Indy and it was overall a good well managed game. Mr. Tony "I don't care about preseason" Dungy seems to have changed his thinking. Obviously without Peyton and some key starters, he opened it up and was trying to win. Onside kick to start the game was an indication also calling time outs going into halftime on defense and of course final drive going for it on 4th down. Normally I would wait on a week to see how the teams are gelling and their approach but there is one game I have found that I like.
The Bears host KC at home and there is a war for the starting position. Orton and Grossman are duking it out to see who gets the starting position. Not that it really matters when the regular season starts but I expect both QB's to go out in the preseason and try to win this job on the field. Croyle is to me the worst starting QB in the league. With LJ's recent foot problems, I highly doubt you will see much if not any of him at all. With Glenn Dorsey and Branden Albert's recent injuries, it sounds like Herm will be cautious in preseason. He has never really cared about preseason going 0-4 last season when Lovie is on the flip side of the coin going 3-1 and barely losing the game they lost last year.
Official Play:
Chicago -2.5 -123 ($615 to win $500)
