Looks like it wasnt a penalty after all. I thought it didnt look as bad from the reverse angle but prob still a slash. Not anymore.

Dupuis sucks. All he had to do was flip the puck out of the zone but failed....then broke his stick and stood there like an ass.....while Detroit set up a goal.

It amazes me how mental lapses or laziness have led to most of Detroit goals. Pens get caught watching with their thumbs up their asses while Detroit just keeps plugging and plugging.

Expect a few more goals tonight from the Pens, but the question still remains can they outscore the Wings? I think the Pens score 4 tonight but can they hold Detroit under that number? Regardless of the outcome, should be a good game!

No. No penalty was called on the play. And the Wings scored moments later. That's why the big uproar. The slow-mo on the play showed the ref's got this one right.

Penalty or No penalty it really doesn't matter and the players have forgotten about it and will focus on game 3. I really don't think it was a penalty and it looked as if Dupuis may have been trying to draw one and you can't blame him for doing so...........the power play looked like it was going to click that night! Let's cheer for our respective teams tonight and the better team on this night will win. I hope it's the Pens but my life doesn't change if they lose!

Actually, that slo-mo above doesnt show the whole play, as some thought Hossa hooked him in the sequence right before this slo-mo starts.

I didnt think he did, looked like stick on stick, but I thought there may have been a slash. Definately not a slash, and looks like a good play not a hook, BUT the controversy was over the play Hossa made right before Dupuis broke his stick.
