- Abdul Hasib, leader of Islamic State-Khorasan, killed in overnight raid on April 26
- Mission was carried out by 50 US special forces and 40 Afghan commandos
- Several high-ranking members of ISIS-K died along with 35 of their fighters
- Two US Army Rangers, Joshua Rodgers and Cameron Thomas, were also killed
