1) Zebras blowing whistles far too often for a big game and blowing calls period...

2) Inept coaching from the opening coin toss. Arizona what are you doing winning the coin toss and opting to kick with that offense? Then they play the entire first half far too conservatively.

3) Tomlin continues to be a great coach until he steps on the sideline. Kicking the field goal at the one yard line on the opening drive? Even if you dont make it the other teams offense starts with their backs against the wall with seemingly the best defense in the NFL.

4) Kurt Warner. For a hall of fame QB, you do not throw that pass. Make sure you throw it where only your reciever can catch it. Otherwise throw it away and take two more shots. The worst they go in at half is 10-10. Instead he takes his team in the locker room down 17-7.

5) James Harrison. Great play but what were you doing mugging and raping Francesco in the middle of the field on the punt. If he does this before the ball is kicked, Arizona gets the ball back deep in Pitt. territory and he could easily become a goat.

Bad coaching, flags littering the field and so many dumb decisions by coaches, players and referees can not make this a great game for the archives.

As we hear far too often, it is what it is.... An exciting and riveting 4rth quarter set up by two teams trying to give the game away.

Just for the record i had Arizona and over and i definitely didnt deserve to cash these tickets.

also for the record you should tell us if you had bet the prop that arizona would get the ball first (concerning number 2)

number 3 is debatable, but i agree with tomlin.
number 4 sure hindsight is 20/20
number 5 you got a problem with harrison? so what lol

greatest superbowl doesnt mean the best coaching in the world and the smartest decisions by the players, it means great plays, exciting plays, and a game that goes down to the wire.. this game had all of that, and i dont understand how you can say warners bad decision and harrison's penalty are two of the top 5 reasons this game wasnt good? its football, the game was great...

I had the over straight and teased with Pitt and was pissed off that Tomlinson decided to kick the FG after that opening drive. Ended well for me in the end, but that was a bad decision, especially when you have the best D in the league.

dude-are u serious? the 1 yard line-you go for it period

1) u have the best defense in football
2) when u kicked the fg-ur telling arizona there defense is too good?

no way u kick the fg on 1st drive at 1? pitt kept them in game especially late in 3rd when they should have scored again inside 5

Tomlin=no guts or balls Cowher would have went for it

Big pitt fan here and glad they won-if they didnt alt of controversy it would have been

How about the 6 downs Pitt had inside the 10 yard line before and after Arizona ran over the FG holder on the first 4th down. You kick the FG and take the points, Pitt wasn't that good in the red zone to warrant a risk on the first drive of the game.

oh really? u also dont run big ben also-you could have done a play-action to maybe heath miller over the middle or also ran the damn ball which would have meant you had the choice to go for it as well. bottom line is Pitt did not execute like they should have-yes the plays inside the 5 yard line-that drive was the game which meant game was over withouta doubt-because Zona players would have been pissed for that player on the penalty to keep the drive alive. but fg kept Zona believing- didnt bet the game played 1 prop on Miller to score 1st td in game 1/950 and i missed by 1 yd

Bottom line is that it was a great game, because you had all kinds of scenarios that play out in this game. From exciting td's on both the offense and defense as well as a safety.
With the #1 offense and #1 defense in the NFL both playing each other, made this game a real chess match.

If Tomlin went for it and didn't make it, you guys would have second guess him on that. Both teams were able to come up with big plays.

Flags will always be a part of this game, because someone has to try to control the fouls that were made along the way. With free agency today, teams are pretty evenly matched, but on any given day, anyone has a chance to win.

James Harrison did exactly what he got paid to do. Hit people.
Football is a brutal sport, always is and always will be.
If you don't like those hits or cheap shots, then I suggest you watch tennis.

Tomlin was voted Coach of the year by his peers and he won a Super Bowl.

People won't ever be satisfied with the out come of this big game, unless there is a total blow-out. That way you can't bitch about it and make excuses.

I know a lot of you didn't think Arizona would beat At, let alone Carolina and Philly. :ohno:

If not the best Super Bowl, then definitely the best losing team I've seen. The way the Cards, with all the momentum, seemed to give the game away at the end of the 1H, but then took it back -because they were completely dominating the game after the 1Q-, only to have Big Ben connect on an impossible throw that was as much luck as skill.

I was on the Cards for the entire playoffs. As much as I respect the Steelers, the Cards were the better team in the Super Bowl. I could make a case that the zebras stole this game from them (e.g. three illegal blocks in the back during the Harrison runback), but I'm not going to, because I'm a bettor first. The luckiest team won, not necessarily the best.

Best overall Superbowl? Probably not. Top 5? I think so.

This might have been the best 4th quarter ever though in a SuperBowl.

If the comeback would have held up, it would have been the best comeback in SuperBowl history. And it all happened in a matter of 8 minutes.

Add that to what Ben did to make plays down the field. Couple that with the play to seal it....

Great 4th quarter. No doubt in my mind the best 4th quarter in SuperBowl history.

Look at it this way...

You had the longest play and most exciting play in the history of the Superbowl.

You had a comeback by the Cards who were completely dominated for about 45 Minutes

You had two scores in the last 3 minutes to turn the tide twice in the most important game alive

You had arguably the greatest catch to decide a game in the history of the game.

You had the BEST team in football have to come back and prove they deserved it unlike the PATS did last year with that turd they laid...

etc etc..

Come on...no question this was the great game in Superbowl history. no question. It had everything a great game begs for....EVERYTHING

THE PATS vs the GIANTS....are you kidding me. That game sucked A$$ for three quarters only to wake up in the final period....this game had drama all and big plays the whole game..

Nah....you all witnessed the greatest game last weekend

AND THE GREATEST DYNASTY ALIVE WON IT...

this is why you aren't out there, champion.

you take the points in the biggest game of the year, we've already proven that we suck inside the 5...even given 4 chances.
