I have been a follower of this board since about Dec 2003, I very seldom post and like to analyze others write ups and in this time have decided for myself whom I believe are the real cappers! However I believe you all have missed the boat on a certain issue in the NBA, that issue I will refer to as " The Golden Rule" and it is as follows: NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER BET A DALLAS GAME UNDER, IF YOUR SYSTEM OR #'s TELL YOU TO BET DALLAS UNDER YOU SHOULD TAKE A PASS ON THE GAME!!!!!!!

The mavs play no defense and they make no bones about it, Nelson and Cuban still have not figured it yet, that you can't win unless you play some "D" I am disappointed none you cappers have said any of this before, and even worse some of you and you know who you are make under mavs a play. Under no circumstances should anyone ever play an under in a Mavs game, regardless of your #'s or systems. THE GOLDEN RULE!!! GL CASH

Cash....This just doesn't make sense to me. Do you have to pick your spots carefully, yes. Since the Mavs totals are often inflated, there is real value in the under from time to time. To rule the Mavs under out altogether is foolish!

Yeah, maybe if the over/unders were all 180 but tomone's right, if you take a look, Dallas' o/u record is right around 50/50.
Matter of fact, if you find the right spot there is a lot of value in Dallas unders throughout the season.

Regardless if there is value or not the Mavs never play "D" thus making it a crap shoot regardless of the line. My point is that betting Mavs games under is simply not a smart play regardless of the outcome on a given night. Generalizing betting Mavs games under is not a smart proposition and you people on here are sharp enough to see that, I am only suprised none of you have ever brought it up. GL to all CASH

The Mavs are an interesting team to say the least.

I have NEVER seen a team manage the clock like they do....and if they are trailing in the 4th quarter with ANY kind of shot to win, you can expect the points to pile up like crazy, late in the game, between the fouls and the threes.

I would venture to guess that the Mavs go OVER a lot more when they lose than when they win. They are capable of playing D....and I have seen them slow it down when they have a lead they want to sit on.

I wonder if anybody has a stat on the over/under results for their wins vs the over/under results for their losses (?)

Zap: My point is not stats it is just as you mentioned ya never know regardless of sytem or #'s the Mavs idea of slowing the pace down is using only 18 sec of shot clock verse 10sec. GL and thank you CASH

Well....notwithstanding all of this, I like the Dallas UNDER 217.5 vs Phoenix tonight. I think Dallas will get a lead and then stop the trackmeet. My numbers have this game at 208.1 and I gotta agree with the numbers tonight.

I hope it works out for you, it takes nerve to play a Mavs game under and a strong stomach and ya can't watch the game. Good luck tonight and always. CASH

Zapster: I am sorry you lost, I follow you & Tate religously but did pass on the Dallas game under, I can't make myself play them under regardless of the #. Instead I just made the Wash play over and Uconn-2( 3pter at the buzzer by Duke , Uconn wins by 1, might just as well have played Dallas under- would have been less ill} GL today and always, thanks CASH
