Been reading this tremendous weekly publication for over 25 years and have NEVER once found one single issue that was not worthwhile!!

TheRx is privlidged and honored to have them as an advertiser/sponsor on the RX homepage.

For those that have NEVER read an issue, you owe it to yourself to pick-up a copy at your local newstand or by placing an order online.

I used to buy this thing years ago and found the Sports Reporter to be a much better publication at the time.

Their newsletter is decent but their picks are horrendous.

I agree wholeheartedly with the picks not being great..........I read it solely for the information it provides, which is OUTSTANDING!

I enjoy a weekly newsletter called Winning Points. The picks are actually pretty decent.

The info about the teams is great.

A must for college football and basketball

Ok its me again, the town cynic!!!!

QUESTION: If the information in the Goldsheet is the same people the writers of that fish wrapper use to make their picks and their picks are "horrendous"
as every one seems to agree. How in the hell would the information be worth a dime if it constantly leads you down the wrong path?:monsters-

Its kind of that saying about the guy who is desperately looking for his wallet underneath a street lamp, but when he is asked where he dropped it, he points to a dark area of the street where the light cant reach... His reasoning being that, he is better off searching where the light is!!!!!

RED---Obviously you have never read the GOLD SHEET.

It provides great statistics on many facets of the sportsbetting world(including but not limited to power ratings, game logs, team stats, etc., etc.) and superlative well written articles on this industry that are both highly educational and enjoyable to read.

I like the Gold Sheet very much, bought my first one 35 years ago. Back then (pre-internet) the GS was exactly what the name says it was "Gold". They had (and still have) hard to find ats records broken down by home and away for all major sports, combined with excellent articles and lot more. I subscribed for years and still buy one at a nearby newstand.

One thing I'd like in newsletter form, but have never seen are things like the Statfox matchup..

Points per game v opponents points per game
Yards per run v opponents average run yards conceded
Yards per pass v opponents average pass yards conceded..

etc..

Gold Sheet Extra that comes out on Friday nights is worth its weight in gold. It is a must have. No picks, just late info.

I have been a Gold Sheet customer since 1967. My avatar is a quote from founder Mort Olshan in 1971. Their reputation is IMPECCABLE! I subscribe to their Triple Play and Friday update EVERY year and it cannot be beat. If you are NOT a subscriber,do yourself a big favor and do so. LT

The regular gold sheet picks (the monday sheet) are the best fades anywhere on earth. I seriously believe they hit under 40%, year in and year out.

With that being said, the picks in the CKO and Gold Sheet Special are awesome, and hit high 50's, perhaps even 60% on a good year, and their Friday Night Update saves me hours upon hours of surfing the net for injury news, etc.

All-in-all, the GS is a HUGE :103631605 !!!

Agree. Do not follow their picks. Read the Gold Sheet and make your own picks.

What is the difference between regular and special, is it all one sheet? is it two different ones?

I want to get this friday, I just want to be sure I get the right one.

THEY PUT OUT FOUR SHEETS.

REGULAR GOLD SHEET--monday, 3-4 picks + writeups
GOLD SHEET SPECIAL--monday, tech angles, 2-3 tech angle picks
CKO--tuesday 5-6 "special" rated picks
FRIDAY NIGHT UPDATE--friday, info on injuries

THE PURPOSES IS OF COURSE TO MAXIMIZE REVENUE. ALSO, THE OLDEST SCAMDICAPPER TRICK IN THE BOOK IS OFFER MULTIPLE PACKAGES, SO AS TO ENSURE AT LEAST ONE WILL BE "HOT" AT ALL TIMES. PHIL STEELE IS THE MASTER OF THIS DECEPTION.

With that being said, I TOTALLY AGREE that the GOLD SHEET is the most reputible, honest service around and those 4 sheets are worth the $30 a week it takes to buy them all.
