I used to make the rounds on these ATMs with the wife and earn all the time when I was a mooch. Last Monday I went to Lake Tahoe. We had a route, knowing where every bank machine was. We would check them for built up funds for a play. All of the Odyssey multi selections are gone. The other's are gone too. Found one Wild Cherry Pie that was left after weekend pretty fat. Started off with $300, as it was a dollar slot. After first $100 hit a nice 777 for $200. But bank was still full. So I kept playing. Finally filled the pie, cashed at high, $276, $176 profit in less than 1/2 hour. Only found one other Double Diamond Mines, started with a $20, 80 units on a quarter slot. 10 minutes later cashed 128 units, or another $12 profit. Next, trip to Vegas. Found only one Wild Cherry Pie in Rio. Was a nice setup. Again, started with a $20, 80 coins. Ended up with 190 coins, $32.50 profit, in about 15 minutes. Wandered through Bellagio, Paris and Treasure Island. Found no bank machines. Saw a top cat, and two Diamond Mines in Caesars but they were being played, and I did not feel like being a vulture. Went back to Rio, and same slot I hit earlier was ready again. This time turned 80 coins into amazing 340 coins or $65 profit. So was 4 for 4 until I tried that same Rio machine later that night and dumped 80 coins and hit nothing. But for someone wanting to earn and be entertained, it was a good time. Back in the day there were dozens of these machines in every casino. They are no longer being manufactured as the new machines are television shows. I saw Rodney Dangerfield, Beverly Hillbillies, Mash, Munsters, Adams Family and other waste of time machines. The only exception was the Hilton. When Iwas entering NFL contest I saw a bank of brand new Wild Cherry Pie machines. One or two were old style, the other's were bonus pie. Looked like someone had beat me to them, as all banks were empty. I will miss the rounds, walking through casinos on Monday, cleaning up what the tourists left. Just like counting cards on single deck, the bank machines are just a memory. It was fun while it lasted. Best Wishes...OF
