- At the time, John F. Kennedy was a young senator from Massachusetts establishing himself as one to watch
- He married Jackie on September 12, 1953, just eight months before these photos were taken
- A collection of 31 images in total has been put up for auction, and the pictures are tipped to sell for $6,000
