First off - this is post 6000 for me! And what a post it is - back to what I love doing the most:
******************************************
Thursday afternoon I heard an ad for some scamdicappers saying how they were gonna give out 5 free picks that day – including the Nebraska/So. Miss parlay. I wrote down the info and went to call them on the free pick line – which they said would have all 5 free picks (even though I knew they were full of shit). I couldn’t do it since they won’t take calls from pay phones to the free pick phone and I’ll be damned if I was gonna give the assholes my home number.
But I still wanted to “bust” someone so I went to the one place I KNEW I could count on scumbags promoting free picks – the USA Today sports page. Sure enough – I was NOT let down. Only problem is I had my choice of numerous people to call. I’ve already busted “Joe Wiz” 2 times (and best of all – I got him tossed off this site – you’re welcome everyone). I coulda called Kevin Duffy but like Joe Wiz – been there – done that – and besides he is too easy to “pick on”
I settled on an ad in the same box as “Wiz” – meaning I know the 2 “sleep in the same bed.” The loser I called was “Duke” who said in his ad how he has “heavy hitter moves.” The number listed in the ad was his free pick phone: 800-628-2444.
So I called this number and here is what I was told:
“The Duke is a 6-time documented Handicapping Champion who has been in business for 24 years. We can watch him on his TV and syndicated radio shows (ok – has ANYONE ever heard of his radio show – or even parts of it?). The Duke “lives, eats, sleeps and drinks sports.” Tonite’s (So. Miss/Nebraska Steroid M0ngers) game is supported by one of the strongest trends he knows, having gone 19-1 overall and hitting the last 13 times. He is sending this game out to all his clients as a “Five Star” pick – meaning we are to bet 5 times our normal play on it. To get this game FREE, call his office at: 800-877-3387. When you speak to the operator – mention “Personal Account #44” and I will be given the game FREE right then and there by the operator. I also shouldn’t be gambling if I don’t want to win – and I should pass this information on to any and all friends I have so they can take advantage of this opportunity. I was told how 80% of the publis loses in gambling, 20% win and 5% are in the elite status like him. The Duke said he LOVES this game and he can taste this winner. He then rhetorically asked, “How do I feel about this game?” and then in a HIGH pitched squeal, shrieked, “I love this game, big, big, big.” The Duke then told us something I sense will put Shrink on the floor with laughter. The Duke said that when you place a big wager you need some place to play it and The Duke told us how “SBG Global” is the NUMBER 1 offshore sports book with offices in England, Costa Rica and Australia. They give out a 25% CASH bonus as well as a FREE satellite dish for signing up with them. The Duke added how they are always giving away FREE trips to clients, such as Vegas and Atlantis – and other places that have gambling. We were also told how SBG has a payout office open 18 hours a day – 7 days a week and within 1 hour they will send out your payment if you ask for it. The Duke added it doesn’t matter how much that payout is – from $100,000 to $250,000 to $500,000, SBG Global will send out your payment within 1 hour (Someone get smelling salts for Shrink – I sense he just laughed himself into a coma). Oh, yeah, finally he got around to giving out a “comp pick” for Sunday’s NFL. As a die-hard Broncos’ fan this hurts me to say it – but Denver over the Lions is his free comp pick play – so everyone out there – load up on the Lions! I was also given their website (and try not to laugh too hard when ya see it):
http://www.duke2win.com
So, finally I called the office. Within 2 rings they answered. The woman said, “Hi, first time caller – calling in for your free pick?” I told her “yes.” She then said her name was “Roxanne” (she had a “New Yawwwk” accent to her). She asked how I heard about them – and I told then the USA Today ad. She then asked what they all ask, “How much do you play on a game?” I told her a few hundred on average. She then asked if they could call me back at the number on the phone (I guess they have Caller ID) and I said “yes.” She told me to “stay put” and her boss will call me back really soon.
Sure enough – at 2:26P (PDT) – or about 60 seconds after I hung up – the phone rang. Roxanne asked for me (I told her my name was “Alex”) and told me to hang on a second for her boss (yes – you read that right – they are too stupid to have the guy call on his own)> I got put on hold for about 30 seconds – then I got disconnected. I waited for them to call back but when it didn’t happen a few minutes later – I called back and told them my name and how I got hung up on. The woman (different woman) told me to hang on a second. Finally I got to speak to the salesman who told me he tried calling me back ASAP – but the line was busy (NOT true – but whatever he wants to say is cool with me – for now).
HE IMMEDIATELY started his sales pitch. He told me how they DON’T use stats and computers to pick games. Instead they only play “Information Games” which have an accuracy rate of about 75% (honest – he said this). They base their plays on the (and I SWEAR he said this) “emotional level of the teams” (great – I have “Dr. Phil” picking games for me!). He said it would cost me $599 for 20 weeks of plays and during that time I would call him on an 800-number and speak directly to him. He would tell me which games to play and how much to bet on each game. He said he didn’t want to give me 10 picks and go 8-2 or 9-1 and have me lose money because of poor money management – so he would basically tell me how much to bet on each game.
I then asked if they do others sports – and I was told they do – baseball, basketball, boxing and a lot more. I asked what they hit on these plays and I was told “75% +/- 8% and it depends on the criteria around the game and it is usually on the higher end of things. I was then told (btw – I NEVER got this guy’s name – yeah, I know – great way to do business – huh?) that he hoped I would spread their name and number to all I know and that word of mouth is more valuable than any advertising they do (If he ONLY knew who I was he might think otherwise). I was also told they NORMALLY charge $300 a week for their plays.
I asked if they were monitored – and if so – by whom? The response was a very slick and rehearsed one. I was told, “Our customers document us” and he added that when they do well – and the customers do well – all are happy.
He added they are leading the “Castaways” contest in Vegas this year (hmmm – wonder how that can be – for I am 99% sure the Castaways is either closing up entirely – or already has – and the contest was NOT run this year – so if that is the case – how can they be leading a contest that isn’t taking place?). This clown added how his father is paid by Caesar’s Palace to make the lines for the hotel (this might have been the funniest thing he said – for we all know that is NOT true at all – and even he knows it!). He added they are “connected to good people” and his father is a “household name in most companies.”
I then said I heard on the radio about their free strong play on the game today and how I heard it was 100% free – but now you are telling me the only way to get it is by signing up for the service. He said that is correct and that they give out free picks only for parlay cards and plays like that and they weren’t strong plays at all. He said it was a “no-brainer” he was going to make me a lot of money. He then asked me if I knew how much it costs to run their radio show in California (insinuating that the run it because they make money for everyone). I asked what station it airs on in the L.A. area. He told me “ESPN Radio in L.A.” and the show is done by his “father” – Larry Duke “the one you heard on the free pick phone (quick aside here – ESPN Radio in L.A. is 710-AM and they DO NOT run their show in the L.A. market and that I am 100% sure of – so, and I know this may shock you – he lied!).
I was then told that by the time my credit card bill comes I will have made AT LEAST “20 TIMES” my money back (or about $12,000 – and anyone wanna bet they don’t come within 50% of that – at best?). He then asked for my credit card one more time – and at this point in time – I had heard enough.
I asked this clown if he has ever heard of a site called “The Prescription?” SHOCKINGLY he said he has (he might be the first one ever – although I doubt he was telling me the truth). I didn’t believe him so I gave him the site’s address. I then told him that by Friday morning to check out the College Football forum and that EVERYTHING he had been saying to me was written down and I was going to post it on the site for all to see what crooks they really are. I then told him “Thanks for everything – goodbye” and I hung up the phone and left.
As I said – I doubt this ass clown knows about this site and/or will show up here – for he knows 99% of what he told me was a LIE!
Now – having said all this – Saturday I am gonna go after someone, too – someone I have been dying to go after AGAIN. Look for it to be posted sometime Saturday Night. Based on all of the “homework” I have done on this person – this should be a whooooooooole lot of fun.
