Alright campers, i'm in season and doubt i'll get a chance to post tomorrow until after kickoff. So I'll just get the ball rolling...

Does anyone see how Dallas is only a 3.5 favorite here? I know they've got some players that are banged up on defense and yea, they got it handed to them last week against the Eagles.. but c'mon-- this is a Bears team that, while they may not have given up, I firmly believe Trestman has lost this team. This team hasn't got a fucking clue on defense and if you think they're suddenly going to be able to figure out how to stop a running back by the name of DeMarco Murray, well then good fucking luck with that. I think I heard it on the radio where a Bears corner gave the description that there were plays on defense where his teammates had no idea what to do... where they were going... what the coverage was. BAD COACHING. Anyone have Mike Singletary's number? I know how to whip this defense into shape: it involves droppin' trouw, old man schlong, and two of the biggest chocolate salty balls you've ever seen.

At first, you might say "ah shit Donger! The Bears rushing defense is 11th in the league!! They'll stop 'dem Cowgirls! They can keep it close!" That's because the Bears suck so bad at defending against their opponent's passing game that teams keep cashing into that honey pot. What are the Bears playing for? A shot at some unlikely mathematically STILL possible shot of winning the NFC North if GB and Detroit both lose out and Cutler is able to find is sugar pills?

Here's how I see things happening. Bears come out and the ball 2 straight plays and end up punting after throwing the ball 6 yards when they needed 7. Maybe the come out of the gate and score a TD. Hell they may score 2. The Bears defense has proven (last week) that no lead is large enough to give away.

Dallas is hungry, relevant, and AWAY FROM THE PRESSURES OF PLAYING AT HOME. Talk to the Bears about the pressures of playing at home when the whole world knows you're mediocre at best.... and lucky to win another game this year. Hell, you don't have to ask them-- you just have to watch the game tomorrow. Because I guarantee you this-- if bad Cutler shows up and throws an pick (and he will) the crowd is going to turn on Cutler/Trestman faster than you can say Jimmy Klaussen. This Bears team is so under-the-scope right now-- I don't know how they take the field. One mistake, one fumble, one interception will be all it takes to take this team off the rails.

I know Dallas has probably had a cupcake of a schedule and of their wins, only a handful of them are quality. However the Bears needed a couple fluke plays just to beat Tampa Bay.... FUCKING TAMPA.

Don't over think this one. It's TNF and we all know that means you bet the better team on the short schedule.

The game total going over is probably a good bet as well, but I'll let varkeyboy put that one out if he feels there's value.

For me, I love my Bears and feel I have a pretty good read on this team. Two teams heading in different directions if you ask me. Hoping for a high draft-pick and maybe we go grab a QB.

I'll be back Sunday with parly numbers. BOL all

The real question is can the Bears handle the Dallas o-line like Philly did?

Romo has never had the o-line he does now. If the o-line plays well, Romo doesn't need to take chances.

Donger, are you able to see the picks yet for which side peeps are taking? Curious if this will be in the 13-0 or 12-1 range for DAL?

Does it matter at all that the game might mean nothing for DAL if they don't beat PHI next week? They are kind of screwed for the wild card tie breakers if SEA wins the West.

The question is, Philly will keep undefeated record at home? Game with Seattle and Dallas at their home will unlock the wildcard.

Without running every single possible scenario... If you just focus on Dallas. If Dallas loses tonight and wins the rest of the way... They are not in control of their destiny. I realize that he Dallas/Philly game next week is huge for both trams... But if you're Dallas, how do you not take advantage of this gift of a matchup? It takes the pressure off Dallas and puts it squarely on the Eagles... If dallas loses, they make as the playoffs even if they win out and Philly wins out.

I think the Dallas knows whats at stake here, and if they take care of business, the road to the playoffs is easier and makes the Philly/Dallas game next week a ton more relevant.

Ya, if DAL loses tonight and wins out its pretty much out of their hands. ARZ could go 0-4 from here ... which isnt totally out of the realm of possibilities looking at the schedule and injuries. DAL could still get in if ARZ beats SEA for west division as well. DET could lose again before GB but those 2 should each win next 3.

exactly... that's why I said its really the first MUST WIN of the season.. all games are important, but if they lose this... probably done.... as you said, because they wont be in control of their destiny... they win tonight and take care of business the next few weeks, probably have a good shot of getting in, assuming a couple thinks fall into place...but it all starts with a win tonight... but I fucking hate the bears

Just sharing our pool results.......in pick league only 3 picked browns to win - over 40 people in league. In vs spread league, only 2 picked browns to cover - 25 people in league. 2nd most lopsided game of season. I'm rolling with the brownies
