Changes to the coaching responsibilities at USC are starting, according to HC Steve Sarkisian. OC Clay Helton, who coached USC t0 a bowl win (45-20) against Fresno State, will take over "some of the offensive play calling responsibilities" from Sark. According to Sark, this has been in the works since the spring, but the timing of the announcement still leaves room for thought. According to Sark, he wants to be able to focus onthe entire team, not just the offense.

My take. Simple. It is really up to DC Justin Wilcox now. If Wilcox can be successful running the defense, and Helton continue his success with the offense, Sark can be an overseer and concentrate on what he really does best. That is recruit. Whether or not you SEC, Big 10, and Big 12 homers want to admit it or not, Sark is one of the top 5 recruiters in the nation. He ranks right up there with Alabama and Florida State and is way ahead of anything that the Big 12 or Big 10 has to offer. This also sets the table for Helton to take over as the HC if Sark cannot develop a winner this season at USC. A winner defined as winning the difficult Pac 12 South division.

I get what you're saying here, but Urban Meyer, Saban, Les Miles, Stoops, and a few others all do a pretty formidable job of recruiting in my opinion. Harbaugh also seems to be doing a great job getting UM in the mix, as well as Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss doing a fantastic job. Not saying that Sarkisian isn't a great recruiter, but there are certainly some good ones in the three conferences that you singled out.

Good question. I am not really sure what I am going to do in regards to posting picks. I posted my "Games of the Year" picks already. I will make a determination as to what game I may or may not post depending on just who is, or is not posting this season.

If you honestly think Sark is a better recruiter than Urban, you are the homer.

I think Sark is top ten, but he isn't in the top 5. Saban, Urban, Miles, and Fisher as a top four are much better than everyone else. After that, Sumlin, Stoops, Freeze, and Sark are all up there, but Sark the least of those four.

If you use team wins vs class rankings to decide who sells his product best to recruits no one is better than Butch Jones right now. He's been head coach 3 years at a power 5 conference and has 2 top 5 classes with a record under .500. That's good recruiting. Just last week he got a commit from the #1 qb in the class of 2017 5 star kid from Indiana and probably gonna get the #1 qb in the nation in #2018 from Ga

You guys ain't ready
