The fish to keep this one close. The pats are no doubt the best team in the NFL. However, the Dolphins, no matter what their record is, Always plays them tight. Lets make it three parlays in a row. Look for this one to be fairly high scoring. I can see Miami, trying to run the ball a lot and try to keep Brady on the bench. They seem re-energized since they fired their head coach. Suh is a beast and there front four can reek havoc on Brady and possibly force some bad throws and get some turnovers. I wouldn't be surprised if they come in a hand them their first loss. Although, that's a huge task to accomplish. Especially on a national stage and the Pats are at home.
Patriots 27 Miami 23. Best of Luck!! I hope I am helpful to some of you gamblers!!! I'M still PERFECT on the season. Never had a losing week!!

Don't buy the re-energized hype. Rookie coach short week at NE. They can play as hard as they want vs NE, aint going to help. MIA beat up on AFC South teams with big problems. Toss those games in the dumpster. They play NE well in MIA. Not in NE.
2014 MIA 13 @ NE 41
2013 MIA 17 @ NE 27
2012 MIA 00 @ NE 28

I agree with this philosophy....except it hasn't worked out this season considering NE has averaged less TOP than their opponents.
They only game they've possessed the ball more than their opponent was Jacksonville.

That's because NE isn't running the ball. Brady is after single season yards and/or TD records.

Ok last Year they lost 41-13. But won at home 33-20. 2013 lost away by 4 and won at home by 10. I'm not saying its a tough task. But based on how the last Two years went for the Pats 2-2 in the last two years is impressive. I don't know why some teams just have other teams number, in this copy cat league, they just do. I'm not betting the house on this one either. BOL!!

They are taking what's given to them, just like every game and every year since B&B have been together. They care more about winning, not records.

So teams are stacking up against the run vs Brady??? Wouldn't it, or shouldn't it, be the other way around? Think about, your saying the game plan vs NE is taking away they run and making Brady beat them.

Ya running ball and keeping Brady off the field doesn't sound like a high scoring game.

Last 3 years, MIA has been shutout in the 2ndH at NE
In 2011 they got 1 TD in 2ndH. In garbage time when NE was up 38-0.
In 2010 they got 1 TD in 2ndH.

So in last 5 games at NE. 14pts total in 2ndH. 0pts in 2ndH of last 3.

Exactly, the dolphins won at home 33-20 during a patriots team that was still meshing in the start of the season. I try my hardest not to cap games early in the season because teams are still trying to figure themselves out with new additions to the roster, new plays, new coaches etc. I take the first few games with a grain of salt. There's a huge difference between playing the Patriots last year first game of the season and playing them the last game (obviously, this goes for most teams). That said - the next time the Dolphins played on the road, they got blown out 41-13 at Foxborough. The dolphins are not playing at home, they are playing AT foxborough. However, you are right. In years past the Dolphins have managed to keep it somewhat close with a couple wins.

I get it, Dolphins might be better with the new head coach. But if we really want to talk schedules, the Dolphins blew out the Texans which is arguably the worst team in the league and then some. Also won against the Titans which had their back-up QB (they are another poor team), and the Redskins. The redskins are not that great to begin with, but if you watch the game Landry runs a huge punt return to put them ahead and win the game. It was tied going into the last quarter. Cousins threw two picks and Tannehill threw none (turnovers/Ints make a big difference).

All I'm saying is it's the dolphins game to prove. Especially on the road at one of the hardest stadiums to play at - they haven't shown me anything yet against a good team. Someone tried to make the argument that the Pats haven't played good teams this year (I'd argue to say the Jets qualify). What about last year when they won the super bowl? They played EVERY good team. The pats have a history of winning against elite teams as to where the Dolphins haven't made a big playoff run in a long time. I think the Dolphins are better, but how much better? Who knows. Either way it's too much of an unknown to lay money on the Dolphins do not. They haven't went deep in the playoffs in a long time. For me it was either a pats play or a no play (looks like your on the same page). These are just opinions - who knows maybe the dolphins come in with a new coach and get the upset, I just think it's highly unlikely.

I keep seeing people stating MIA beat TEN without Mariota. Mariota started the game and played most of it. Mettenberger played the last drive.
TEN centre got hurt in 1stH and left game

You're right, thanks for setting me straight. I didn't get to watch the entire game - saw Metten in, highlights and the final score. Either way, Titans are 1-5 this year and look below average. Mariota hasn't shown me anything either. I think he's got a lot of potential but that's it. Point still stands regardless of which QB is in.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying they are throwing it more effectively than rushing the ball hence Brady leading the team in rushing last week. Maybe the offensive line is more comfortable pass blocking than run blocking right now. But it has nothing to do with records.

Sorry, misinterpreted this then. Sounded like you meant teams are giving them passing options by negating the run.

Am I the only one that was not impressed with the Dolphins win last week? The Texans D was brutal and gave them 4 tds, and evidently forgot how to tackle. Granted they are playing better than they were a few weeks ago but now we will see what they are made of. I believe Belicheck will scheme to take away Lamar Miller and make Tannehill beat them with his arm. As far as Miami and there D line getting to Brady, the Pats are the masters at quick throws and they will wear them down.

I said they will try to run the ball and keep Brady on the bench. Belicheck will put 8 in the box and will probably get burned by a few play action plays. The pats are going to score, no doubt they put at least 20 on the board. I just think Miami can hang with them. Its a true test for them. I won't pound this game or the totals. Its gonna be interesting to see what happens. Best Wishes!!

The Patriots run that rub play...errr pick play more than any other team in football. If the refs start to call that, it would greatly hinder there offense. The Jets did something that worked for awhile against that. They set up there secondary at different levels, so they wouldn't run into each other. I'm sure in this copycat league Miami looked at the game film and will do the same. If Lamar Miller can run the ball well, this game will be close. Best of Luck!!
