this seems interesting i was wondering is there a site either of you could pass on to help out a beginner that explains what the wagers are you know explains the basics thank for any help and wtg if i read it right on the race you picked.

I would go to gamblersbook. com and look into books that explain the sport, a second idea would be to go to a website that accepts horseracing bets and look up their rules and payout structure. The book club is an outstanding institution.
Or if you have the chance, take the afternoon/evening off, and head out to a parimutual track of really any type, horses, dogs, have a beer and read the program, chat a mutual clerk up, they are usually happy to help out. :drink:

ty that is very helpful i will definately do that we have santa anita and hollywood with 20 minutes of me maybe i will do that and check out the website gl to ev1 tonight.
