[h=2]If Max wants to wear a pink tutu and fairy wings, he can: Parents raise their son as a boy AND a girl so he won't 'grow up aggressive'[/h]

Max Price is a healthy, happy one-year-old who revels in playing with his collection of toy cars while wearing one of his favorite dresses. The toddler, who will turn two later this month, is being raised using the American technique known as 'gender-neutral parenting'. Mother Lisa, from England, said: 'Gender stereotypes can be so damaging. They teach little boys to be aggressive and dominant over women... It's detrimental for them and for females.

Max Price's parents Lisa and Martin are raising their son as a boy and a girl so he does not 'grow up aggressive'

Max, who turns two later this month and lives in Walsall, is being raised according to a radical technique known as ‘gender-neutral parenting’.
It means Lisa and her husband, Martin, 34, encourage him to wear both boys’ and girls’ clothes, and to play with conventionally female – as well as male – toys.

The concept of gender-neutral parenting first became popular among feminists in America during the 1970s, when it inspired the actress Marlo Thomas to write a best-selling children’s book called Free To Be… You and Me. Recently, it has experienced a small revival.

In 2011, a Canadian couple made headlines after refusing to reveal the gender of their new-born child Storm in what they called ‘a tribute to freedom and choice’.
The following year, a Cambridgeshire couple, Beck Laxton and Kieran Cooper, revealed they were raising their child Sasha as gender neutral to allow his or her ‘real personality’ to shine through.

So you aren't going to define who your child is when it was born?

You are going to wait till they are aware of their surroundings and ask you "Why the hell did you put me in a dress and bring me out into public, and take photos and plaster them for the world to see?"

So I am guessing these parents aren't going to teach the child that sticking a fork in an outlet is a bad thing... let him figure it out himself.... or climbing up a chair to look out of a 3rd story open window, let him find out himself.

So basically they are letting that child find out everything for himself? OR are they just letting him find out if he is a boy or a girl by himself?

I guess 2 minds aren't better then one....

Max's dad needs a good kick to the ear hole and Max's mom needs an Alabama black snake cock slapping.

Land of the fairies. Can't believe there are people that buy into this shit.

Child services need to be called.

Normal Parents: Buy Max pants, model race cars and toy soldiers. Paint his room blue.
Buy Meredith dresses, dolls and tea sets. Paint her room red or pink. Hope for the best. But do not freak out if little Max smears Mommy's lipstick on his face.

Far Right Loon Parents: Go Apeshit when Max puts on grandma's wig and runs around laughing.

Far Left Loon Parents: Force Max into a tutu.

This is BS. Raise a kid normally, by established, time honored, gender roles. It won't hinder them into eventually being what he/she will be. Nature will eventually take it's course. I'm sure Casper's parents raised him as a normal Canadian Boy, tried to steer him into Hockey and other things normal Canadian Boys do. But eventually nature took over, and he became the Purple Flower Loving Fag he became, his true self. I applaud that. It wouldn't have been any different if his parents put him in a tutu, or forced him to play with dolls. It's nature, not nurture, in the case of sexuality, and you ultimately don't have any say in what and who turns you on. Ask Ted Haggard.

my cousin didn't believe in tough love, the good ole fashion Italian discipline. She believed in "timeouts"

her kids were super brats that people couldn't stand at social events, and now rarely socialize with her

we were continuously praised about our kids just about everywhere we went, and they both find time to hang with us to this day, even their friends do. (of course, always picking up the tab may have something to do with it, but I like to think otherwise.)

I want them to be aggressive, and I taught them how to fight their own fights too. It's how you succeed in life

This is crazy, these parents are out of their minds. We do have a big problem with today's parents raising children. I know it's not right but there are some kids/teenagers I wish I could clobber. These punks know that they can't be touched, bring back the spankings.

Props to you Willie. My children are being taught the same lessons in life. Sadly enough I had to utilize the attitude adjustment technique with my 16 year old son a few weeks back. Since then he has snapped back into reality, not the 16 year old world of his friends whose parents don't give a fuck.
