This is all over the int in various forms but i thought GTC would enjoy it and Punter will find fault in it.....

I recently asked my friends’ little girl what she wanted to be when she
grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her
parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, ‘If you
were President what would be the first thing you would do?’
She replied, ‘I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.’ Her
parents beamed.
‘Wow…what a worthy goal.’ I told her, ‘But you don’t have to wait until
you’re President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the
lawn, pull weeds, and rake my yard, and I’ll pay you $50. Then I’ll take
you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you
can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house..’
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in
the eye and asked, ‘ Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the
work, and you can just pay him the $50? ‘

I said, ‘Welcome to the Republican Party.’(<)<

"Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work and you give him the $50?"

"Several reasons, honey.

1) There's about 2 in 3 chance he's mentally ill. This means he might damage my lawn mower, my lawn or himself.

2) About 15% of the money you earn will go to federal taxes which help finance social services that assist people with mental illness

3) With your net income, you can then donate 10% or more to your church or other charity in the form of a tithe. Tithing is an eternal success principle. And you'll still have over 80% of your earned money which means there's a reduced chance you'll come begging me for a handout later.

4) By applying proven success principles so early in your life, there's an increased chance you could become President after you turn age 35.

I find a lot of humor in that one. Thanks Pro. That's a good laugh before I turn in for the night. It's too bad young people couldn't learn that lesson early in life instead of the crap they're fed from academia.

how well is this idea working?

like 1 in 100,000 (after college and early career this might be realistic)

The Republican Party, like the Democratic Party, is a party of big government, bailouts, and bullshit. Welcome to the Libertarian Party little girl!

NIMUE actually inspires a fresh response

"Better to do the job yourself, get paid in cash and don't report the income to the IRS. Use as much or as little as you wish to donate to organizations or people who help the homeless. Then print some door flyers and let other people in the neighborhood know about your ability to do go yard work.

Repeat the cycle as often as you wish"

Might better rethink this B

Better to do the job yourself (Doesnt believe in unions, anti labor terrorist), get paid in cash ( Cashless society phobia, Right wing Extremist, Terrorist) and don't report the income to the IRS ( Terrorist, Believes the constitution doesnt require citizens to pay tax, probably a LaRouche follower). Use as much or as little as you wish to donate to organizations or people who help the homeless (Anti Government radical, doesnt believe Govt can handle it on their own, terrorist). Then print some door flyers(terrorist, believes in the tried and found lacking capitalist system that America has abandoned for hope and change) and let other people in the neighborhood know about your ability to do go yard work (racist, thinks his abilities are better than someone else's, definite hate crime).

Repeat the cycle as often as you wish"

Hey Pro,

One other comment. I would have used the term "bum" instead of "homeless". "Homeless" is that politically correct bs. "Bum" would capture more the essence of your post (might as well call it what it is).

PPP, I have come to realize that in your paranoid view of the current USA, at least one in four Americans would qualify as a terrorist.

Not a smart idea for me to publicly acknowledge specific ways I might consider hiding income.

But the method I described above is certainly a viable system for most anyone who wishes to employ it - as evidenced by the tens of millions of Americans who do so on a regular basis.
