I feel your pain. I had that over on a parlay. What doesn't make sense to me is if you are going to go for the win, why spike on 1st down? they were just going to run it so why not run on 1st? Ugh, I guess this will be one of the first of many burns!

hah you guys want to hear pain, I had the CSU ML as the last link of a parlay to win 8 grand.

Granted they weren't a lock to win it at all, but I expected to at least get some OT to sweat out.

Oh well, had he scored I'd be praising the genius move.

and it's for that reason I stay away from big parlays like that. somehow that $20 12 game parlay into 50k always gets clipped by something like that.

If CSU had a TO, I would have fully supported their decision, but that was bad play-calling.

There were two bad calls there. Not only spiking it on 1st, but why not spike it on 3rd if you are going to run anyway? This gives you time to setup a better play, even a fake FG. UGLY...

If I didn't think it was just sheer stupidity, I'd be yelling FIX... down by 3 with +4.5, go for it all. Lose the game, cover the spread. Win the game, money and glory. Why take changes in OT?

But I'm sure it was just stupidity. I'd be interested in reading the local newspapers tomorrow, so please post links if you see any.
