I'm listening to some of the vitriol that came out of the Democrat Rally that Kerry had at Radio City Music Hall - and with friends and supporters like these, Kerry is guaranteed to lose the election. These people are just full of hate and disdain for Bush, and if they get to much attention, they're bound to turn a section of the electorate against them.

If a voter is turned off and doesn't vote at all, it's a vote lost; if a voter is so turned off that he votes for the other guy, that's two votes lost..

I get a kick out of a lot of your posts. However, it always cracks me up when they talk about Hollyweird liberals and how we shouldn't allow entertainers to sway our opinions...

yet Republicans consider B-movie actor Ronald Reagan a god, elect Fred Thompson character actor Senator of Tenn. (some time back) and most recently the Governator or California, Arnold S. (ain't even gonna attempt to spell his last name).

And of course we get to listen to Bruce Willis spew meaningless babble like "If only I could have 5 minutes alone with Saddam". What a riot. What would he do, call in his stunt double?

Bottom line is it cuts both ways.

Mudbone - you mentioned three Hollywood names - lets add Charlton Heston, and I'm sure we could come up with one or two more - this compared to the dozens that were on hand to revile Bush as much as support Kerry at the sleaze fest the other night.

If were a case of quality matching quantity, then I'd agree - each conservative is worth 5 or 10 of the Sean Penn types - but I don't believe it works that way; Kerry has been saddled with a nest of vipers, and their venom could damage him.
