I simply don’t have enough trust in Jordan Love to keep this game close – especially at the hostile Ford Field. The quarterback is completing just 56.9% of his passes on the road and he has thrown six of his 10 interceptions away from home. During last week’s victory over the Chargers, RB Aaron Jones exited the game and did not return due to a knee injury. His status for this week is very much in doubt after posting a DNP at practice on Monday, which would be a significant hit to Green Bay’s chances in this one. Detroit should rely again on a heavy dose of the ground game to build and maintain a lead in this game. These teams are 5-5 in their L10 matchups, but Detroit is 8-2 ATS. Those games went 6-4 to the under. Green Bay is 2-11 ATS in their L13 games against Detroit and 0-5 ATS in their L5 games in Detroit. Detroit is 8-2 ATS in their L10 home games. While Love was not the QB of the Packers for most of these meetings, it does show how the Lions do have the Packers’ number, and it’s hard to imagine them not winning this football game. Detroit is a great teaser leg on Thursday, and they also have the ability to win this game. Detroit should rely again on a heavy dose of the ground game to build and maintain a lead in this game. Factor in the injuries to David Bakhtiari (out), Aaron Jones (questionable), and Jaire Alexander (questionable), and I think Detroit wins by at least two possessions.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Detroit -7 [buying the hook _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Washington played the ugliest game of their season on Sunday, coughing up the ball six times in a horrible 31-19 loss. Ron Rivera’s tenure may be coming to an end as coach of the Commanders, and the end of the road may come when they face the Cowboys. He is not going to be fired during the year, but if the Commanders look like they did against the worst team in the division Sunday, they will struggle immensely against one of the best teams in the conference. Now, you have to block Micah Parsons and a Dallas defense that has rung up 33 sacks, including 12 in the last two weeks. Washington has been awful more often than not as of late. The Commanders have won just twice in their last nine outings and the defense has played a huge role in those struggles, surrendering 29 or more points in six of those contests, including in three of the last four games. Howell has been running for his life this season, getting sacked a league-high 51 times. This season the Cowboys play the easiest schedule in the NFL, shoutout to playing the NFC East 6 times. But, they also have some harder games that are going to prove if they can be contenders. The NFC East division has not had a repeat division since 2004, which is the longest in league history. With that said could the Cowboys change that this year? Personally my money is on no with the Eagles emerging as favorites, but I can see them making a play for a wildcard spot. The Commanders don’t have the weapons to keep up in a shootout and they lack the run game to control the clock. 1. It's Thanksgiving Week across the NFL. But for every team with something to be thankful for as we head into Week 12, there's one that, um, isn't.
The Houston Texans are thankful for rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, who threw a career-high three interceptions but did enough to lead another win. The Cincinnati Bengals are anything but thankful after losing quarterback Joe Burrow to a season-ending wrist injury.
The Denver Broncos are thankful for a fourth straight win that got the team back to .500 for the season. The Seattle Seahawks? Not so much—they squandered a late lead against the Los Angeles Rams in a game in which the team saw quarterback Geno Smith and running back Kenneth Walker III go down with injuries.
The Detroit Lions are thankful for a comeback victory that has them off to their best start in over 60 years. The San Francisco 49ers are thankful for a quarterback who was essentially perfect in Week 11. But the Carolina Panthers are still stuck dining on the oyster stuffing that is a one-win season, and the New York Jets may have to hold quarterback tryouts in the parking lot at ACME Markets. Pass that nasty stuffing—because we're starting in Charlotte...again.

KEY MATCHUP: Cowboys pass rush vs. Washington offensive line. Dallas star Micah Parsons just tied a career high with 2 1/2 sacks against Carolina and rookie No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young. Washington's Sam Howell has been dropped a league-high 51 times, and the Cowboys are on their way to finishing in the top 10 in sacks for the second year in a row. Dallas matched its season high with seven sacks of Young.
