This guy has been playing like a man possessed the last couple of weeks.
My God he's a one man wrecking crew.
Changes shots of defense, a monster rebounder, it's a crime if he's not first team All-American.

great college player for defense just because he alters so much shots, but he will be completely useless on the offensive side in the nba. he has no offensive skills right now. only way he gets things done is by being so much taller than everyone and it won't be quite that way in the NBA.

Shaq is MUCH stronger and physically dominating than Thabeet. Not even really a comparison. Shaq in his prime would take make thabeet look like a 6th grade girl.
One's a teenager, the other is a grown adult.
Both have the same game.

Same game?

Does crack come with your Uconn tickets?

Hasheem Thabeet has no post moves what so ever.

I like Thabeet, but to say they have the same game is like saying that Tony Gonzalez and Bob Hayes have the same game as both of them are required to catch the ball.

He's only been playing basketball for 4 years so he is still learning but having watched him develop at Connecticut, he has improved significantly on the defensive end. He now rarely leaves his feet when a fake is put on him. Offensively, he has yet to develop because Calhoun is not depending on him to be a scorer as he has Adrien, Dyson, et all. He needs to add weight and muscle and be taught how to get offensive position around the paint. If he can learn that, he will be able to play at the next level.
