Texas/Texas A&M thoughts...

A&M is not the same program as in the past. They started out horrible but have improved drastically from those first few games of the season. Offensively, they are not that bad - averaging 27 points a game. I believe they will be able throw the ball and put up some points in this game. UT will be able to put up a ton of points against a below average A&M D.

Texas must win this game by a ton for BCS purposes. I think that the line is inflated for this reason. I do believe Texas will win handily tonight. However, 35 points is a lot of points to give up in a big rivalry game such as this one. Texas was a far better team than A&M in the past two years, yet A&M pulled the upset both times. That's just how it goes in huge rivalries. I'm not saying A&M will upset tonight, but I think they keep it close enough to cover a 7 TD spread. I'm going to have to take the points. TEXAS A&M +35

I just dont think Jerrod Johnson will have enough composure in his first start in Austin. If UT can post a few scores early and force T AM into a passing game it may be a long night.. I think Texas will prove they are the 2nd best team in the Big 12 South and winn by 45.

actually a&m have been passing all year... Its kind of what sherman wanted to do when him came in, spread offense. JJ has alot to learn and gets freaked out quick. If anyone actually watched or listened to any of the A&M games, he has come along way. He was a receiver when mcgee got hurt and was forced into the QB position. He has found his favorite targets. Fuller(freshman) and tannehill(freshman). Also the McCoy brothers have come out and been doing excellent lately. JJ has come a long way, extremely far from the game he played against miami
