I like Tech here a lot. Potent offense that never got out of the gate against NCSt. Very good chance of blowing OM out of the water. TT has a decent defense, where Miss is very porous.
This one jumped out at me - but I'm on the other side. Ole Miss at home coming off a bye. TT back to back road games with A&M on tap the following week.
They'll take care of TT first -- avenge last season's loss. Manning will give them every bit as much trouble as Rivers, as they run very similar offenses. They are not looking ahead to Florida.
If you watched the TTU/NCS game, you would see that the score was VERY FAR from the actual game play. I still felt like TTU could win that game even when they were down by 21 at one point. Ole Miss is a fluke squad that has the "Manning" name attached to them. Texas Tech should roll them.
I agree, a blocked punt in the endzone and an INT cost texas tech early. Everytime I watched it they were in NC State's redzone - a fake field goal hurt them as well. Heck, the guy threw for 547 on NC State's secondary.

Uh....Rivers has a good running game to compliment him...Manning just doesn't.
