I was being a sarcastic saying anybody will be better than Ash even someone not playing in that position.

Texas starting center broke his ankle. They better put in Heard or Swoopes to run away from the pressure that will be coming at them up the middle. Backup Raulerson is just a redshirt fresman. He's going to have his hands full with 300 pound Marques Johnson on his nose. I'm temped to just take the under for this game and be done with it...

I'll probably stay away too. The only thing I don't like about BYU is they want to be one of the big boys of college football. But their recruiting is terrible. That's why they seldom beat the big boys. Last year they couldn't beat Wisky or ND. They seldom beat top 25 Power 5 conference programs. That upset of Texas last year was the first one that they've had in years.

Backup is a guy named I believe Swoops (almost spit out my Labor Day noon brew on that one, lol). Had to do a double take at the screen as I'm quite nearsited and the older you get, worse you need bi's if you keep the specs/contacts in and I don't do either, but think I'm right on this. I already played BYU +3+. GL my friends

Swoopes is not that good as a passing QB. Decent runner. And this was why Strong needed to play Swoopes during the NT game. I suspect they will have to remove the redshirt from Heard and get him some reps too. Long season for Strong. Losing starting center and QB made this offense go from mediocre to bad.
The run game just got infinitely more important.....

Agreed. I heard it took several drs to get him cleared LY. Ya gotta think that someone in the program or a parent says, you're done. Just be a GA or something. I'd hate to see this guy suffer some type of really horrific injury on the field.
