Coming off a big win over Ohio State. Very good chance they wont be up for their game against RICE. Rice a 41 point dog. Texas 48 Rice 17?

Anyone in Texas area looking at this also?

That game will go by quickly too. Rice will run the ball exclusively.

I wouldn't take the game. BTW, the bet usually against these OOC pansies when it comes to Texas recently is the 1H. The linesmakers tightened up this line. I think last year the line was -32.5 and they lost ATS in a similar situation. But they did win the 1H (I think it was around a -20). This year, 1H is -24. Check out box score from last year, that would be a major moose job. This year's 1H is a lot tighter also. Let down, no, they will still blow them away, and be focused for this game, but whether its 48-21 or 35-7, I don't know. 55-21 seems unlikely, but very possible at the same time. But they will pull the starters early in 3Q opening the door for the moose.

No play for me.

Nothing could be better for Texas than to serve up a bowl of Rice. This Rice team will be fortuante to score, much less play within the money 1st half or complete game. Sure Texas will yank out starters when the score is about 49-0. Texas second stringers will also score on this pitiful bunch.
As before mentioned Rice in a bowl.

I was under the impression that these past recruiting years for Texas have been the more fruitful ones and i think Texas recruits have constantly been featured in top 3 every year.. Its said that they have a pretty good stock of second stringers who should get some time in against Rice..wont these recruits still be able to run all over Rice? Wont these second stringers attempt to pitch a shout out?

I was on Rice LW (actually cost me a winning day). Stay away from this game. I think there are better games on the board.

Coach Mack consistently runs the score up in the 1st half against Rice only to put in the subs in the 2nd half. This has happened the last couple years. Look for a possible UNDER in the 2nd half along with a Rice cover.

Tough call guys. I'm with Hoosier as for losing with them last week. If UCLA can put up those kinds of points on them, what will Texas do? I worry about Texas wearing them down and then putting the 2nd string in who are fresh (most would be starting at Rice). I'll stay away even with the probability of the letdown hangover! Good luck to who plays it.

Great 1st half play IMO as Rice is horrible and Tex should be up 35-0 at half and then coast home from there. GL

Texas can call the score in this game. After an outstanding effort on Saturday -- look for VY to only play a 1/2. Second 1/2 will be all 2nd stringers. It's a complete crap shoot.

Take a pass.

For the record -- I was at the game against OSU. If you ever get a chance to see a game at Ohio Stadium -- go. It is one of the best places to see a football game I have ever been to.

I am in Dallas, and the local papers say you are right, Mr Poops. (What is with the name?) Anyway, they've declared that UT and Mack Brown have proven all the critics wrong. So what's left to prove? Somewhere from 42-21 to 48-17 sounds like the right type of score.

I don't think Mac's a bully. Rice covered this game in Austin LY. If you think the Owls can score a couple of TD's and make Texas punt 2-3 times............

HAHA Mr poops. I dont know I wanted to make up a funny name. Just from being an athlete in my lifetime in high school and college I know what its like the win a big one then come home and half ass it and just win and not blow the next team out.
