Typical Texans...Their burning their oil money running banners when the OU/OSU game hasn't even been played yet. And at the same time it gives me great pleasure knowing they'll have to root for OU to win.

I think it is hilarious that Texas fans make such a big deal out of the 45-35 thing. Here is one for Texas:

UT - #2
OU - #5
TT - #12

No one disagrees that UT and OU should be number 2 and 3 they just disagree with the order.

UT beat OU. Done deal.

Also if you are talking about Texas Tech shut up, they are not even part of the discussion.

GoSooners -- why does everyone think that Texas is rooting for OU?

Any Texas fan that roots for OU today has to be a bumbling idiot (despite what the idiotic sports announcers are saying).

The ONLY chance TX has of getting to the BCS championship is for OU to lose tonight. The hell with the Big 12 South tie (besides, OU will jump TX and win the tiebreaker anyways) -- Texas Tech is too far removed to challenge for a BCS spot.

I think this is a very, very simple concept to understand, but people just don't get it!??

If OU loses tonight it does two things: With a two loss OU team it knocks Texas BCS strength of schedule down a notch. And if Texas Tech goes to the Big 12 CG game and wins their not going to take Texas over the Big 12 winner. It's not going to happen. You can bank on it. You better hope OU wins tonight, because your only chance of going to the title game is in my opinion for Florida to lose tonight and beat Bama. Otherwise it's going to be the SEC vs the Big 12 winner or USC.

With all due respect, I disagree with you 100%.

For argument's sake, let's assume both UF and Bama will win today. (Although I do think FSU can pull the upset.)

Obviously, the winner of Bama-UF is in. If OU wins their next 2, I think we all know that OU will jump Texas in the BCS standings.

If OU loses tonight, and Tech wins the BCS championship game, there is absolutely NO CHANCE (0%) that Texas Tech goes to the championship game - they are too far removed from the picture right now. Plus, one other thing to consider -- Tech has a much greater chance of losing in the Big 12 title game than does Oklahoma.

If I were a Horns fan, I would be pulling hard, hard, hard for the Pokes tonight.

You know your stuff, but, this is one thing you are off base on, in my humble opinion.

You must not win in gambling as according to you the scoreboard means everything. Sorry you can't watch a game & actually see the X's & O's & break it down logically.

Sorry I won't be a homer with you. Doesn't matter as Texas is not winning the national title. :lolBIG:

yea because the spread (which they covered) matters when it comes to a straight up win/loss record or the national championship.

they won the head to head matchup genius. they did not win by 2 as time expired, they won by 10.

45-35

you see you are arguing a team has better that ALREADY LOST A HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUP BY 10 ON A NEUTRAL FIELD.

what kind of a dumb ass do you have to be? i guess you have answered that question.

you wanna know which team is better have them play each other on a neutral field. only the biggest moron would argue the team that loses by 10 is better.

you are that moron.

i know you read this and i have nothing else to say so keep bumping your ignorant gums, i am done.

In my opinion, if OU wins tonight and loses in the Big 12 Championship game, then Texas has a very good chance of getting in the title game. Texas other chance would be for OU to lose tonight and for Texas Tech to lose in the Big 12 CG. This would leave USC and Texas to fight it out for the second slot...If Texas Tech wins the Big 12 CG, I just don't see Texas jumping a team that beat them head to head and then won their conference championship. I believe USC would end up going over Tech and Texas..Again, this is just my opinion. It's basically the opinion of others that's going to count. Along with the BCS computer rankings.

As usual you overlook how you were helped to get that win. However idiots like you would never admit that.

So with your logic anytime a team is upset, they must definitely be the inferior team.

You truly are clueless.

What is Tech going to fly over? They wouldn't dare show up with anything having to do with OU after the beat down they took. If they were going to do anything they would have don it Thursday during the UT v A&M game. Even if OU loses and TEch plays in the Big 12 championship game I don't think there is any way they get to play for a title after when and how they lost.
